Prancing with the devil.

<span class="bold">Pony Island</span>, a devious puzzle game where you gamble your soul to escape a sinister arcade machine, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com for Windows, Mac, and Linux with a 10% launch discount and the game's soundtrack included as a bonus goodie.

The old Arcade is about to close for the night. You approach a colourful coin-op machine standing apart from the rest at the end of the hallway. "Pony Island". Hey, it's what that weird neighbour's kid was playing endlessly before the accident. You feed it a coin, press "Start" and it glitches on you. A slight push; no effect. Frustrated, you start pressing buttons, kick, yell, send the machine to hell. It backfires. Badly.

You are no longer in the Arcade, you are inside the arcade. You're trapped in the devil's digital playground and there is only one escape: to puzzle out how to fix it. But you are not alone. The souls of other unlucky gamers who fell for this cunningly attractive trap are in here too. Or maybe that's what the diabolical architect of this infernal game wants you to believe. Is the code really broken? Or is it your soul? You need to think outside the box, if you are to escape this devilish arcade box. Or just use this cheat code that we happened to have lying ar--[ERROR - UNKNOWN INPUT FORMAT]

Outwit a malfunctioning machine programmed by the devil and escape <span class="bold">Pony Island</span>, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 10% discount will last until February 18, 1:59 PM GMT.

Maxvorstadt: What the.....? What is THIS? Okay guys, who put the LSD into my lemonade?
My bad, Im sorry... :(
So this is one of the games where you have to be a programmer to play it?
I love Horror.

I have read countless stories & books.

I have all Hammer Films, the Universal Monster Collection, watched the Evil Dead Trilogy more times than is healthy & the mentioning of names like George Romero, John Carpenter, Dario Argento & Guillermo del Toro make me feel funny & tingly down there.

So... when exactly did static, glitches & random, childish blurbs like "insert your soul" become scary?

I guess we could blame this in creepy pastas like Sonic.EXE & Ben drowned?

Possessed games. Haunted intangibles. Bad sectors in software. Oh, how frightening.

I may be old, but I should be shocked by what kids are doing. I shouldn't be more hardcore than the newer generation! They should be laughing at ME, not the other way around. What happened?
Hard to resist with the 9% off.
Looks "too niche" to me. Not my cup of tea.

But I would love to see Undertale here.

Played a bit, so far the puzzles are fairly easy, no programming knowledge needed.
So that's the game that is NOT "too niche" for our refined tastes?
I've heard a lot of good things about Pony Island - frankly too much. It's one of those games best played completely blind. Now I've said too much. Even the product description says too much. Sometimes we all need a friend we trust implicitly who just shoves a game into your hands and whispers 'play this.'

Elmofongo: This is one of those trendy indie games that tries to subvert its premise.

Because subversion and deconstruction is the flavor of the month.

Venita: Nothing to subvert here, you already know that the game is made by Satan :)
Sorry I was thinking of Undertale.

And how some of its messages defeats the point of "Buying" a game.
Ok. Ok. I see you doing a few turnarounds GOG. Good start.

Still going to need Mushihimesama and Dariusburst to wash away the salt.

Oh and hurry up and get Undertale will you?

Seriously, why do you not already sell it?

Thanks for bringing it here GOG. Instabought. Let's get weird.
Welp, I emailed support a couple weeks ago saying I'd buy this if you brought it here, so it's time to put my money where my mouth is.

Could you elaborate? I'm curious.
We all gotta agree that weird games are here to stay; good or bad, meh, matter of opinion.
Well, it all started with Trio the Punch...
