Disturbances have returned to Akanemachi. It's now up to Aya and her new ally, Fuu, to quell the evil and bring peace back to Akanemachi for good!

Western World still don't keep up with making games like that.
There's this prejudice about making that kind of game in western developer scene.
They act all high and mighty and think that making that kind of game is below them.

Ironic since GDC 2023, trying so hard to be "safe space," and turn out there's a ton of reports of se*ual harassments and r*pe.
They're hypocrites.

Well, that's the point. I don't want games "like that". I am really not interested in that style.
There are some US teams, but mostly from eastern europe who fill the gap by creating games with adult content.
We have some of them on our site (House Party, Being a D.I.K., Lust Theory).
There are more of these which are worth having. Where is Bonetown for example?

I miss the "sexy" games from the 90s and early 2000s. Crusaders put an end to them, even certain DOA titles were pulled from the western market or not even released there.
If you want something in that direction, you have to go the adult games route, which I also definitly not mind, but the medium option is gone. Just bring us back some beach volleyball games with honks in shorts for some players and babes in bikinis for the others.

Back, when I was on a vacation from college and played DOAX2 on the XBox360, my sister laughed her ass off at the bouncing boobs (which the game itself was making fun of, the "o" in "loading" was bouncing as well).
If people think they need to feel offended by something like that they should not play it, for fucks sake and leave the rest of humanity alone.
But they keep complaining until it has to be removed from the shelves and if it's not visible, it won't sell and it's gone and sometimes later: enter porn games.

Suprisingly i hear less complaints about the comic/magazine sections when it comes to complaints or moaning of this type in physical stores then i witness in these forums
even though Porn mags , manga comix and all other types of entertaintment have been a part of physical stores for quite some time, yes even smut
and that form of media beeing older than videogames

I havent witnessed they remove this stuff
but sometimes some stores move them to diffrent part of the store where people that are offended only will spot them if they go out of their way to cross into the 18 section on the store

Even koisks and some gas stations have those comix, mangas, smut and porn mags but theres much less moaning and complaing about it

Sure, ther obviously is a market for shovelware, it wouldn't exist otherwise, so Cheers! to the fans of it. I just wished that GOG would put some more effort in getting the higher quality stuff than they currently do.

i think youre exaggerate a bit
coud gog have mixed up the realeses so we got more diffrent type games/genres instead of a bunch of them in a simmilar style in a single row ?

i guess so
but these things tends to be in cycles
even on steam there are times only one type of games/genre gets relased

for instance there was a period
only Zombie themed games was relased on there
and many were litterally clones with just a few adjustments
