Even Eternity must come to an end.

Pillars of Eternity: The White March Part II, the final chapter to the opening of the Pillars of Eternity saga that enthralled both RPG veterans and newcomers, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com for Windows, Mac, and Linux. To celebrate the epic conclusion, Pillars of Eternity is discounted by 50% until February 19.

The second part of the expansion pack to the acclaimed RPG brings players back to the perilous, enchanting lands of Eora. The Watcher's dreams are invaded by visions of a terrible, bio-metallic army that marches unopposed on the Eastern Reach, wreaking havoc in its path. Speculations on The Eyeless' origins abound but no one knows for sure whence they came or why they seem so hell-bent on destroying everything in their path. What is not up for speculation is their menacing, statuesque appearance, befitting of the work of a god.

Pillars of Eternity: The White March - Part II provides closure to story threads left unresolved at the end of Part I and also brings a new barbarian companion named Meneha to the party. Thanks to a new mode called "Story Time" players will have the chance to experience the game's story at a faster pace, plus the new Update 3.0, going live alongside The White March - Part II, includes a streamlined combat UI, updates to the Stronghold, and a number of other improvements and in-game features.

Gather your party and your remaining strength before you venture into Pillars of Eternity: The White March Part II, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 50% discount on all editions of Pillars of Eternity will last until February 19, 3:59 PM GMT.
No discount on the expansion pass? Shows 0% for me.

Ganni1987: And yet GOG still doesn't provide a DLC upgrade path for non-Royal Edition owners. Good release but I ain't buying until GOG starts showing more than just empty words.
I can understand why you're irritated about this. Have you considered contacting Obsidian & Paradox to inquire why this hasn't happened yet? I don't think this is something that is only under GOG's control.
Might want to put a link to the season pass in there somewhere :)

Same for me, i'd like to know if the expansion pass is going to get a discount or not before I buy it.

I haven't, but if GOG cannot provide it, then they can at least say so, so I'll gladly email Obsidian and Paradox why GOG users are being treated as second class citizens.
Bought. :)

So is this the final DLC for PoE or are they making more?
So is the expansion getting a discount or not? Seems odd to put it in the promo list if it's not.

I do not believe GOG can unilatterally, legally offer the upgrades you would like without having a written agreement with Paradox to do so. This is based purely on conjecture on my part; but don't you think it possible that a retailer might not want to publicly announce something that could be interpreted as portraying a vendor in a negative light, especially if for no other reason than to a good, non-adversarial, business relationship? This is why, in regards to post complaining about things to the effect of, "why hasn't GOG done this or why hasn't GOG done that" I'll often ask if the poster has directly contacted the publisher and/or developer concerning the issue. If nothing else it will impress upon the publisher that there is a consumer demand for such thing.
This is another example of how a game can became hit, if you make it for the gamer and not (exclusive) for money.
And when you think that most of it is made in GameMaker...
Probably there will be some other DLC, but i can understand them. If something is not broke, why to repare it ?

I do not think that the expansion will get a discount. If my memory serves, the White March Part I was discounted when it came out along with the option to get season pass for a higher price. When I look at the season pass, it is the same price as back then.To discount the games now or the season pass would have made the season pass pointless back then and depending on the discount would be a slap in the face for the people who bought the season pass.
GOG, you are trying really hard to persuade me I don't own this :D
Can you finally fix that "owned" tag for those different editions (not only for Pillars)?

I get your point and it does make sense, on GOG's end however they also have to be careful what they write in their announcements.

One was able to purchase both the White March Part I & II at a discount when the White March Part I was first released on GOG. In fact I took advantage of this offer and purchased both expansions for $24.99 instead of $14.99 for each one separately. The White March Part II was already in my library when I checked my account after I read the release announcement. I believe PoE is in the promo list because there is a 50% discount on purchases of the base game.
Nice! Downloading...

I mixed it up, thanks for clarifying it. Looking back, buying the expansion pass was a wise choice. I only bought part I back then.
