Reigniting the old flame.

UPDATE: All owners of the game can go ahead and grab the Rum Runner's Pack for free. It adds six new alcohol-themed items and Mirke, a recruitable sidekick that really loves her booze.
If you don't own the Deluxe or Obsidian edition of the game, you can also now purchase the game's Sountrack separately.

Note: If you already own the first Pillars of Eternity on GOG, go to your library and look under Serial Keys. You should see a bonus code which you can use to redeem your Gaun's Pledge DLC for Pillars of Eternity II.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is here, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The sequel to Obsidian's seminal RPG, which brought back all the immersion and attention to detail we remember from the genre's classics, has finally arrived. Introducing naval battle mechanics, a new vast open world, a relationship system that now affects interactions between your companions, and an epic story involving the re-emergence of an old god, it might just become the RPG you'll be replaying for all eternity!

Go for the Deluxe Edition, which includes a Digital P&P Guide, the official OST, the second Volume of the Digital Guidebook and more. You can also grab that stuff separately inside the Explorer's Pack.
Or plan for the future with the Obsidian Edition, which also grants you access to the Season Pass, that contains the first three pieces of planned DLC.

For all those experiencing download problems (greyed out buttons) please try account refresh first:

https://www.gog.com/account/refresh

EDIT: single account refresh will work, please avoid refreshing the account multiple times. There is a slight lag due to the sheer amount of requests, but we are working on speeding things up.

Thank you for your patience.

EDIT2: If after refresh and you are using Galaxy Client and on your shelf you have any other version than "Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire", try buying free DLC for POE2 through the Client. That should force client cache refresh.
(DLC should be visible on Overview page [::PIC::])

previous BETA players
please switch from Public Beta to default branch to get the full version

Putting the giant mess aside, if anyone gets a copy of Wasteland 2 that they don;t want, consider sending the key code to Zeogold as he runs a giveaway for unused and/ or extra codes:

I;m sure someone out there can find a loving home for your unused and unwanted code.

Pangaea666: Just checked now, and it doesn't show up. Hopefully it will soon-ish, well before the actual releases.

wolfrider100: I know I preordered the Obsidian Edition and the Season Pass has not shown up in my game's library yet. But

I think the 3 DLCs will just appear in the library when there ready to go. So I'm not worried too much about it.
Not too worried either, which is unusual for matters over here lately, but I reckon it will get added when it's out. Have the confirmation and it's listed in the orders tab, but it would be nice to have some kind of recognition of it in the game card. If they are making own categories for DLC, maybe this is part of that issue though?
Does the Critical DLC thing ovewrite existing voice sets or does it just add more?

Crosmando: Does the Critical DLC thing ovewrite existing voice sets or does it just add more?
Think it added some more ones. Didn't actually play before installing it, but there are around 6-8 extra voice sets which sounds like the Critical Role crew. Highly doubt it has overwritten anything.

On the game itself btw, and I've written a little bit about it on the official forum: I think it's a marvellous game so far, and plays really well. I've "only" played around 10 hours, but it's been a hoot.

Would not mind giving my spare copy of the code. Its just that the code is nowhere to be found.

I. Did. Ask. On. Official. Forum. Be. More. Polite.
There was just so chaotic these days, and I was just looking for new info regarding that. There was new info after I posted my question. Which. I. Found. Myself.
But there's nothing wrong asking this on gog forums.
To be honest, it was a foolish question, asked without context as to what you already knew, inviting others to waste their time explaining the situation to you.

But I was being playful in my replies and steering you toward a more productive approach since you had not mentioned already having voiced the question where the devs could see it.

That aside, your reply made me smile. Allow me to apologize if my post seemed more serious than intended. :)
I should appologize, too. Sorry.

GR00T: Likely they figured the vast majority of people buying PoE2 would already have PoE, so chances would be better they don't own Wasteland 2. And Obs has pretty close ties to inXile, so they're probably helping them drum up interest in Wasteland 3, which is upcoming this year as well.

Yeah, that's likely how it will work.
They should follow Larian .

Pheace: You're mistaken. It's perfectly possible to copy the games in the infamous DRM-Free on Steam thread without having to do pretzels in your computer to get them running on another one.

Either way, even if you did, the difference would be in level of convenience, not whether something is DRM-Free or not.
avatar
AlienMind: You are mistaken. Plenty of games which do NOT run if you copy the file over to another fresh machine without steam installed.
avatar
paladin181: You know Galaxy isn't DRM, right? For that matter, neither is Steam
avatar
AlienMind: You do NOT get offline installers while only using galaxy. Hence you have no ability and guarentee to install the game without going online first. Why am I writing this? Are you all retarded?
Why am I the only one left here having a clear idea what DRM free means?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It's some setup.exe which will install the game on a fresh machine and after that the software is working in full without the need to phone somewhere else.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's OK that gog always dilutes this because they have other agendas now, but you people?
Have you betrayed us? Have you.. betrayed ME?

You can download offline installers through Galaxy. Also, any game installed through Galaxy works even if you remove the Galaxy client. Spreading FUD does no one any favors. DRM means I can be stopped from playing my games. There are some games on Steam for which this is patently false, if the game is backed up or installed. Virtually every game on GOG has this (Gwent being the only current exception). Arguing that if the game isn't backed up it won't work would be disingenuous; you'd be locked out of your games on Humble, GOG or any other DRM free source should they go offline before you back up.
Well, it was "fun" to write this review. Took me 3 entire days for the writing only. lol
https://goodmorninggamers.blogspot.com/2018/05/review-pillars-of-eternity-ii-deadfire.html

Basically,
it's incredible, with a tedious and even messy pause-based system(never liked it since the Baldur's Gate games...lol), the graphics are out of this world, the music is horrible(just my opinion XD), but overall, it sure is a must-have for any CRPG fan.

Sorry, I've tried to read the review but, as for the first POE story, I didn't understand what is going on.
Did you like the game, in the end?

"Finally, for those who just want to follow the story, you can play the... "story mode". lol
Actually, you STILL have to fight if you pick this mode, but your characters are strong as gods."

what does that mean?.

Also is the music that ordinary?
avatar
Niggles: what does that mean?.
There's a difficulty mode called 'Story Mode' where your characters basically can't lose a fight and will steamroll anything you have to enter into combat with. This makes it so you don't have to worry about all the aspects of tactical combat and can just focus on the characters and story.
