Thank you for this release but X-Com: UFO Defense is much cheaper and less hardware hungry .

I was waiting to grab this here as soon as it launched, then it went EGS exclusive, then I spent a year hearing nothing but complaints about it from everyone who made the mistake of buying it there.

Over the last year my excitement level went from "YAY!" to "meh..." and never came back up.
Pretty curious about this. Supposedly there's yet more content on the way, so development doesn't stop here.
Thank you for the release. I am happy, it is here now.
Obligatory backer key arrival post.

I only played it briefly when it released on EGS, wasn't bad, decided to hold off for the extra content and the GOG release before diving heavily into it. Issue now though is this is one hell of a release month for games I've been hyped for.

I have to give up sleep or work or both....
Thinking whether to get it. The original price point is a tad high -- pretty much AAA game price here in australia....PLUS its more then 12 months old at this point?.

And... how is the gameplay?. As expected? anyone who has played it can provide their experiences with it?

I assume the Mac version (which is on Steam) will be here shortly. Yes?
Instabuy :)
I thought this already released on GOG a week ago?

It was not. It was announced that it would be released on Dec. 3.
I love XCOM-type games, but this just looks too weird for me.
