I am not sure what you mean by "getting only the Classic HD version". You can't buy the original version by itself any more; it is no longer available for sale. And by buying the Classic HD, you indeed get both versions, so I can't see any disadvantage.

There is either a glitch (my guess) or you+others missed it/didn't locate it.

Here is a pic for all who want to verify they are looking in the correct place.

Take the code and "redeem code" and put it in and it will pop up to buy discounted. errr, should!

I used my code so I didn't feel inclined to blurrrr it out

funkfeelin: I tried using the code on the GOG redeem page. It accepted the code then when I clicked CONTINUE a pop-up appeared saying "Something went wrong. Try relaoding the page". I tried several times and it was always the same problem.
It took me a while fishing in the forums to figure out where to enter the code in the first place. It would be good if there was an option to enter the code on the regular purchase page.

How open ended is this exactly?
There seems to be quite a lot that can happen in one day.
I also heard years ago that all three of your people can die or become infected, leading to an actual ending and not just a 'game over' screen.

edit: how come people only decided to try the code post release? Mine worked fine a few days ago :/

I'm getting the same problem as above. I have returned multiple times to try out my code. "Something went wrong. Try reloading the page". At this point I am ready to give up. It shouldn't be this hard to redeem a code to purchase the game. I've went through the forums looking for a solution. Haven't found one.

Is the view distance still so small?
If this isn't fixed, then I don't think I am interested.

I played the original with all the characters, 100+ hours of great and unique adventure. I played with unofficial polish translation and a widescreen+HD textures mod.
Now, I wonder if this new-old release offers anything better than that?
