No comments yet? Wow, wasn't expecting that for this highly anticipated game!
I wonder how good is the main storyline. I had issues with it in the first Pathfinder. If there are some noticeable improvements, we might get a really great game, because the mechanics are of top notch. I especially loved the tun-based combat that was implemented with one of the patches in Kingmaker, but it takes way too much time. :)

It seems the game is released, but I'm still unable to download the offline installer,
Is this normal for all newly released GOG games? (I'm new here)

Edit: Nevermind, they are up now!
I really love these offline installers, the only reason I abandoned Steam, I feel like I actually own the games here.

My main issue with Kingmaker was the horrible kingdom management, so this time I'm turning the crusade management off like I should have done then. The writing and story weren't as good as an Obsidian game and such, but it was fine. Played 2 hours of this so far and writing quality seems about the same.

Everyone is too busy playing the game! :P
Still got Doom Eternal to finish, but after that it's off to the Worldwound. :D

I'll probably end up buying the game at some point, but I'll hold it for now. The quality of text in Kingmaker was ok. I had some problems with plot and timed quests. The kingdom management part was also not so great in my opinion. I wasn't able to finish the game unfortunately, but there are chances that I'll return to it without the kingdom management part and with mods that disable timers. :)

The timers are really more scary than they actually are dangerous. As long as you prioritize the main quest you will never, ever have an issue with the time. Between main quest stages there are long periods of downtime where you can do side quests.
This game looks appreciably better to me than Kingmaker, and I do actually like Kingmaker. Unfortunately for whatever reason I basically got to where that game opens up a bit with the kingdom management and have not really gone back to it.

I'll hold off on purchasing this game for now if only because Kingmaker had a rough start and patience paid off then. I may not exactly wait until an Enhanced Edition but, if nothing else, I'd like to wait for an amount of players to get into the game since I tend to get lost in PC isometric RPGs.
This game's intro/tutorial dungeon/etc. is loooong. 7 hours in and haven't seen a world map yet.

Definitely this. I started with paranoia as well, but it's really almost impossible to incur in time limits unless you aren't deliberately trying to do so.

Shame they only wanted sales from galaxy users.
Meh. The first one didn't really grow on me. I didn't even know this one was in the works. I guess that shows what I thought of the first one
So obviously this isn't fully DRM-free because without granting internet access this game refuses to launch. It asks for an outgoing connection to various ports in the 2xxx range and a remote TCP connection. I opened up a post in the Pathfinder forums about this because I am really tempted to refund. Yes, over such a petty little thing as this, because I don't think I wish to share any data without Unity or Owlcat.

Edit: A developer or representative got back to me and they are going to look into it. So maybe by the time you are reading this it might be fixed which I really hope. Can't be that big of a thing to patch it out or disable it. Sorry for venting but this is really an unacceptable issue for me little and innocent it may seem to be ...
