It's murder on the dance floor.

Your obnoxious neighbors are having another loud gathering and the ruckus is killing you. Time to return the favor.

Blaster_Master: It's understandable that they might not be able to offer the workshop tied custom levels, but there's no reason for the High Crimes DLC and soundtrack to be MIA.
Maybe it makes for better marketing to *not* release everything at the same time.

Several games have launched on GOG, then a few weeks later come back to the top of the news list with DLC & soundtracks now available. Perhaps it's an "extra time on the front page" thing, like all the notifications of "free DLC' we get nowadays.

I'm hopeful that they'll bring the High Crimes DLC here in the future (I'm not much of a soundtrack person). But, as you say, the editor and content tied into the Steam Workshop in almost certainly a lost cause. I can live with that.
Disappointing the gog version is missing one DLC and level editor as the gameplay vid I watched of this last year had me interested.

Yeah but some people see it as a bad omen when on one hand there is missing content in this game and on the other hand there is a missing update for an other game from the same developer here on GOG.

So I can understand the doubts of some people here. Why should the missing content ever come to GOG and there be future updates when the other game of the developer seems to be abandoned?

JudasIscariot: Probably slim to none as of right now if it's in any way tied directly to Steam's Workshop feature, but I am just guessing at this point.
I wonder if you guys couldn't/wouldn't write a Galaxy Workshop interface which would be compatible with the Steam Workshop. It would save you and the devs a lot of headache.
The OST sounds pretty good actually..just checked on youtube. WOnder why its not available for purchase here?

JudasIscariot: What bugfixes? The version of Party Hard we have is the latest version that was delivered to us by the developer. If the game is missing bugfixes, please send me a link and I will inquire about it.
For me the main issue is the lack of the linux version. I understand each additional version causes extra overhead for both the publisher and the store. And I have no problems with running games in wine. But in these cases it makes no rational sense to buy the Windows version, hope for the best and know that support won't have your back in case of trouble.
Don't forget via tinyBuild's own admission (but is now notably missing from their website) that every copy of Punch Club included what was called euphemistically "tracking analytics". "Tracking analytics" is a strange sounding thing to include in a so-called DRM-free game.

I was against a "Galaxy Workshop" for quite a while, but if the alternative is missing out on editors, then GOG might as well make one. I just hope they do it right, and allow people to download mods from it regardless of game ownership. Give us the option to download and install the mods manually. Even when I used Steam, I hated Workshop because of how much control it takes away from the user.
Yeah, about versions....

"Quality curated game" my ass.

Edit; guess which one is from GoG and which one from steam.

I've been informed by the developer about an hour ago that we'll be getting an update to Party hard either today or tomorrow.

What about the Linux version?
cute. people realize games with steam workshop (instead of e.g. nexus support) have to be released as crippleware on other platforms.

Update arrived, BTW.
