Darvond: Thanks. I'd rather play Pachisi, over a kinetic visual novel which is just a digitally flavored version of Pinocchio.
But hey, thanks to the screenshot monkey for going out of their way to
not actually show how the novel portion of this "experience" is presented.TheCleaner517: Yay, can we have even more anime? How about we dump the entire GoG catalog and just shove as much anime in it as possible? I mean, we are already heading that direction anyway so why not?
Darvond: On one hand, there are
good anime games that GOG could peruse, but on the other hand they require
DOS/V support; which I dunno if DOSbox staging can handle or not.
No and I have told you that several times. If you're looking for many of those older DOS VN's to ever pop up on this or ANY site, you are wasting your time. Many DOS VN's lost their copyright licenses years ago and are now playable legally in your browser through the internet archive. Now I know that internet archive has a lot of things today that are probably not legal, but these browser based versions of the DOS classics you refer to are definitely legal. So yes, you are free to play many in your browser now and it would be a waste of GOG's time to release what you can just now play online for free.
