Art style kind of looks like Hotline Miami.
Seems like an interesting premise. Wishlisted.
Really fun game so far, the music makes the exploring so much more enjoyable. Definitely recommended.
Love never dies, people do. Love just replaces the burnt conductors and semiconductors. ^ <3 :D

apart of main character name... looks like a really fun-bringing game, wishlisted!

Salut!

Mr.Mumbles: Or you could do what I do, just look at verified owner reviews/ratings. That cuts out all the idiotic nonsense.

Dogmaus: you can do it but that only solves the problem for you. What really matters at first impact is the general vote. It can harm a GOG release. It's really bad rep for the game, the devs and ultimately GOG. I'm not interested in the game myself.
Sometimes I had to give one star to games just because I kept forgetting what they were and I had to check every time if I was interested. An ignore button would solve that problem at least. I'm not saying that the bad vote is a problem for me because I need it to understand if I personally want to play the game. 2/5 is really bad and will make people question if the game is bugged or really that bad.
GOG rating and review systems need improvements.
So, basically you (rightfully) complain that idiots and assholes downrate a game they never played just because they don't like some minor aspect of it, or maybe because the dev is controversial (could have said any opinion regarding GamerGate) or even a IRL asshole *cough* Phil Fish *cough*. And by doing so, these idiots ultimately directly hurt the sales and the dev and indirectly the reputation of Gog to other devs and the whole "Gog ecosystem".

And immediately after that you admit you do exactly the same thing as those idiots (although for a personal rather than a community-driven reason).

I was gonna ask if I was the only one seeing the irony here but Mr. Mumbles and ToxicTom made it clear I'm not alone.

Big difference, I don't do it at launch ruining the image of the game, I have done it for a few games that I kept confusing with others after some time, because I had no other way to mark it, and my vote is lost in a sea of hundreds others. I can't even make a mix of games I don't want because GOG took away the mixes. The first ten people who rage-vote one star will cause the game to launch with one star. If I do it to an old game it doesn't affect the general vote.
I'm at a loss for why people care about random low ratings on games. Skim the reviews for detailed reviews, look at other information available, and make your own decision.

Not so big a difference, if hundreds of others do the same for the exact same reasons like you.
The rating system doesn't differentiate between your (allegedly good) cause and the bad cause of the "I intend to ruin this game's reputation"-crowd.

Same here. I basically never look at the overall rating of the games.
If I'm interested in a game, I read the reviews written by the verified users...bad and good ones...and then decide whether I buy a game, or not.

Looks interesting! They've done a very good job at making me assume it's a Japanese game, from the obvious visual style, the general insanity and the name of the studio. Apparently they're actually UK based though?

XYCat: this game looks weird, so is it good? :D
I think you'll love it, based on what I know you tend to enjoy.

Like I said in my review, aside from the obvious "Phoenix Wright open-world" descriptions that have been floating around the internet, the game strikes me more as some sort of homage to Goichi Suda's games, even having the word 'killer' in the title (killer7, Killer is Dead), or how the characters speak, act -- downright to how they are named (we play as Lady Love Dies, which wouldn't be out of character in No More Heroes or killer7 -- which also has a person named Love) --, the whole moon motif that keeps repeating and changing color, the "intermission"/loading screens, the entire cryptic nature of it all.

I don't get why a vocal minority seems to be so upset about this game, but that's the GaMiNg CoMmUnItY for you, I guess...? The game is great for what it is, obviously, it's not going to be up everyone's alley, but, then again, what game is? I don't care about cRPGs but I don't go around ruining the fun for those who do love them by shouting how lame and crap they are.

I really think you should give this one a go if you're into more... "experimental" video games and aren't afraid to try something that kind of feels like a weird walking simulator investigative visual novel set in an open-world scenario where you're the one deciding what's the "truth", regardless of logic and facts (or, I mean, you can go all rational, too, I guess).

[EDIT] Oh, and while I know this isn't an issue for you, specifically, it's nothing short of amazing what these devs did with Unreal Engine 4. Seriously, the game runs like a dream, I installed it on my old laptop and even that piece of crap is able to play it (granted, with everything set to Low by the autodetect system). No lag, no stuttering, no overheating, 100% playable on a freaking ancient 512MB AMD integrated GPU.

It's an over-saturated market... there are just too many games, so people might skim(filter through lots of games quickly. Some 2.8 rating might harm a game in such an environment.
Judging from the graphics, game is one big LGBT+ agenda ;)
Why all male characters looks like from pride parades? :>
These tight pants... it`s making them look fragile. I donno, I`m from 80`s, having no clue ^ where d f is remote! :D rotfl
Let me show you real rainbow then :P real Mother Nature : ) now try to get to the other side ; ) Lovely Paradises waiting. Light is therefore colour :D
