An uplifting adventure.

Owlboy, a wonderful flight through old-school aesthetics and unique platforming mechanics, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Otus doesn't say much but his spirit and determination speak volumes. Just as the beloved owlboy is coming of age, a surprise attack by sky pirates forces him to ride the winds of change and begin his turbulent journey across the aching land. To counter-balance his non-violent nature, Otus will enlist several of his less cordial friends, who are able to gun down the monsters that infest his beloved home. Apart from their unique abilities, the owlboy will share with them stories and companionship, as they flap together towards an open-world full of cavernous dungeons, dangerous ruins, and challenging bosses. Remember: carrying is caring!

The game's dreamy OST is available in the Collector's Edition, available to download right away both on mp3 and FLAC formats!

Grab Owlboy and take to the pixel-perfect skies, DRM-free on GOG.com.

IAmSinistar: Nice looking game, may pick it up when a slot opens up in my gaming schedule.

Seems like the site is glitching, though. It reports a hell of a lot more comments on this thread than there are.
A new feature! :-)
I think it's something connected to the older preorder thread.
OK, launch issues are 99% connected to missing XNA 4.0 redist. We forgot to add to the game setup, which will be fixed shortly. In the meantime, you can download it directly from Microsoft site:

Thiev: To all with launch issues: are you using online (Galaxy) download or offline installer?
I was using Galaxy. It Launches fine from a manual download
Redownloaded and installed from site, launched from folder. Started fine. Thanks GoG :)

Using Galaxy. Strange thing is that it announced a 650MB size and then downloaded 256MB.
Another thing to try for Galaxy users before redownloading - please use 'verify / repair' option and maybe this will trigger proper XNA install
Did the verify/repair option, and it...did things, and I think it downloaded things. I pressed play, and that's a big nope - still doesn't launch. Will try manually downloading the XNA, I guess?

in games folder (general one, where Galaxy installs all games) should be folder named '!Downloads\__redist\XNA_40'
XNA installer should be inside.

That was my guess too. I suspect this was meant to link back to that, but somehow didn't hook up quite right. :)
Installing the XNA framework worked!
low rated
Ah this game, definitely getting it when it reaches 75% or over off.
Hi,
Thanks for the XNA fix, the game wasn't starting at all!
But now, the game crashes when I try to start a new file. I get an error 0x800736B1 when lua51.dll is loaded. The DLL is inside the game's folder.
I got the game through GOG Galaxy.
What can I do?

berkvt: Can you start it up mate? Or are you just gushing over the screenshots? :)
I'm just looking at the screenshots/videos for now. ;)
No GoG Galaxy Achievements? I see achievements on Steam version. Hook us up devs we paid the same price as those guys on Steam... :(

Achievements are planned post-launch.
