Funny seeing a game like this here, While GOG censors its games for political pandering. Like most so-called progressive liberals, Orwell's warning is a leftist paradise full of censorship in the name of the people or because of so-called sensible censorships.

Another thing to check on - the store page says the game has achievements but having downloaded it on Galaxy, there are no achievements.
Which countries is this blocked in? I am not going to go into why. Just a list will do.

To be fair, Orwell was a socialist. Kinda unsurprising, really. This was all about watching your government to prevent it. Often times to find out what people are really about is to see what they focus on during catastophes. Someone i know was just diagnosed with a caner with a survivability rate equivalent to the chances of getting covid after getting both doses of a covid vaccine. The diagnosis of the tumor and it's location is so fresh, it's not even officially cancer, yet (results came back less than 24 hours ago), and the wife is focused on money. Books like these are simulated catastrophes, and what was Orwell focused on? If 1984 was to warn us of the dangers of communism, then animal farm was to show us how we get to 1984. Orwell was no prophet, but a repentant witch.

EDIT: Try to take his works the way you would The Screwtape Letters.

This lesson often goes over the heads of middle class socialists.
They don't love the poor, they hate the rich.

It wasn't as you say. Orwell was a convinced socialist for his whole life. His books (both 1984 and Animal Farm) are a critic of how Stalin corrupted the principles of socialism and turned it into another form of totalitarianism.
