Smannesman: Dear lord this looks dumb
Used it , thanks .
Actually I am very interested in this game, because racing themed games are relatively rare on GOG.com

Am I the only person who looks at the money counter on the screenshots and thinks it was directly pulled from Grand Theft Auto 3?
That keeps bugging me.
There's a decent amount of negativity about this release between this thread and the pre-order one, but personally I'm happy to see it here.

You're probably the only person that could withstand looking at the screenshots long enough to notice it, yeah.

Well, they started to develope it in 1992 and decided to keep the original graphics. :-D

Dalthnock: Dear lord, this thing has Simon 3D graphics.

Why would you do such a thing to your own game?

it had little or no votes at all, so that might explain the amount of negative (or 'bad vibes')
there are more receltly released games that have no or very little votes ...

It did escape , but sad thing is, its uglier then most other 90s games

eventhough i dont play racing ((game)motionsickness) i do know which game is good and which game is 'crap'

NFS 19964 released is mucho better then omnibus imho.
check link:

The Need For Speed 1994 gameplay

now thats more like it then the omnibus with its 'illustrator v1.0' graphics ...

I guess availability and the chance to get a game is the major factor that decides if a game will arrive, i have seen better games that seemed to be 'rejected' , i saw games with 10K votes and still not arrived (must be royalties or maybe publishers that cant part with their evil DRM? who knows.....

This requires DirectX 10? What the hell are the devs thinking? DirectX 7 would be overkill.

Direct X? Hell, the graphics processor of an Amiga 500 would be enuff for this!

dx 10? You must be joking .... ?
havent checked the requirements i alsway look at the images first, then the video, and when it looks okay i check the requirements.
DX7 btw is rumoured to be a 'bad' boy among the dx versions, as far as i can remembere (without googling)
dx6, 8 and 9x seemed to be around longest, dx 4 if it even existed, was rarely used, most games were dx6, 8 and lots of dx9, that was the final and last supported dx under win XP if i remember correctly.

DX 7 is bad news, Gear Head Garage (best garage simulator imho compared to that 2014 / 2015 car mechanic shit at steam ) needed dx 7 as far as i remember, GH was old pretty ugly 3d engine if you had to run it in software mode, but i was able to play it, maybe because it is not so real camera heavy like nowadays car mechanic sims cause these make my stomache turn...(motionsickness)

Anyway i guess we will never see a working GHG with full video support, no lousy software rendering like Gorky 17 has
, cause Gorky 17 was a nice game if the videocard supported it, but running in software mode is right ugly....
its still weird that this 'cant be fixed' , i cant believe that, but i guess we have to believe it.
Its a good thing the classic resident veil 1,2,3 wont arrive cause i bet these would also only run in software mode for the GPU, and that makes the game real ugly and a waste of cash.

Is there a website to see all games that will be released this year ? ( from may till december) then i can see what to expect.
