Northgard, straight from Shiro Games, brings in a new DLC: Northgard - Kernev, Clan of the Stoat!

Northgard is a strategy colony simulator that gives you an insight on the Old Norse world; the cruel Vikings, their culture, mythology, and the way of life. You, the player, take control of a clan, who’s vying for the control of a mysterious newfound continent; with Northgard - Kernev, Clan of the Stoat though, you’ll get to know a completely new clan!

Discover Northgard with the newest DLC, now on GOG!
If only the team behind Northgard loved offline multiplayer mode even half as much as they love dlcs... just saying.

Surprised they are still making DLC for this game. Will still pick it up.
Thank you Shiro, I'm very eager to try the Stoat Clan, looks like another nice batch of gameplay changes as well, all in good direction :)
Are Linux users still expected to pay full price for a limited build of the game including no multiplayer mode?

Or a map editor that doesn't need Steam Workshop:

Come on, it can't be that hard to add...

Shouldn't "Northgard: The Viking Age Edition" include this DLC by default? This was the case with all previously released DLCs (except for the "Cross of Vidar Expansion Pack")

Currently i could only afford the main game with discount. But i won't buy it yet since i see there is the viking age edition which also has the main game is over my budget this month and i don't see a way to buy all dlcs as a package without the main game
Except if i would buy dlc one by one which would probably cost even more

No, the store page doesn't list it as part of the package. Never did.

Indeed, the store page doesn't list it... But it could be an ommission on GOG's part. This has happened before with other Northgard DLCs (and they appeared on my library after a week or so).

Why GOG ? It's actually Shiro Games that created the game and the bundle. They decide what's free and what's not.

And what about us guys who bought the game before the bundle existed, and bought all it's DLCs separatly over time?
We would not be eligible for it, since we didn't buy the bundle.

Should we be the screwed ones because we spent more?

Everyone who bought the game before the bundle existed is, of course, expected to pay separately for all the DLCs.

But there are others, like me, who bought the "Viking age Edition" bundle, and got newer DLCs added to their account later, like for example the "clan of the eagle" and the "clan of the rat" (although with a bit of delay).

This is why I am asking, if this DLC will automatically be added for owners of the "Viking age Edition" or if we should buy it separately.

You got exactly what you payed for. See what you got as bonus as a nice gift. But there is no "should".

If you want the whole package, you need to buy the bundle that will be released once all DLCs are completed and nothing new is coming. That's how it usually works.
Decisions led to me buy the original game only. Gotta see how it perfoms but reading steam i guess i will wait until some more bugfixes since currently it's a mess there even though i have the game on gog. Only played a little of story. Dlcs i will buy extra when i can if i will like the game. Waiting for one game on steam to have a discount also
Also on steam the new clan dlc costs 50 cent less than the base price on gog

Hello,

I'm running the game on Linux (Ubuntu 23.04) for years with all DLC installed.
So I just installed this new DLC but the new clan doesn't appear in any of the clan selection menus.
Am I the only one experiencing that issue ?
