In this module for the cult fantasy RPG characters and events coincide with the official Dungeons & Dragons tabletop campaign, Baldur’s Gate: Descent into Avernus.

Just to make this thread visible on the forums, too. *bump*

Kudos for releasing on GOG, Steam, and Beamdog Store simultaneously this time!

And as of today the NWN EE offline installers are finally patched to 1.80 as well, fixing e.g. game-breaking bugs in Wyvern Crown of Cormyr.

Simultaneously? Nope, it's not out on Steam yet, GOG won this round. Let's get this party started!
Yeah, nice to see it at the same time as other versions this go-around. Haven't played the last one yet but I'll grab this to support the efforts. Unlike what some grumps say, I appreciate Beamdog adding new content to these classics.
This might be a good time to delve back into this game. Then again, I still need to finish the Witcher series.

It is, from what I see.
Surprise release? Why not :)
I just hope the high-res model pack will come out soon, they have been working on it for some time :)
Bought because it's Planescape.
Is this a brand new product (as it seems), or another expanded commercial release of a canceled/abandoned premium module from the game's first go-round? (Not implying that there's anything wrong with the latter, BTW.)

Also, I assume it's still got something to do with the Forgotten Realms (hence the tie-in with the tabletop Baldur's Gate campaign product), and simply includes elements from the Planescape [meta-]setting?
The fact that the Steam version has achievements and this one does not does not give me great faith in Beamdog as far as keeping this up to date.
Oh great, Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition Digital Deluxe Edition disappeared again. I guess it will be called "Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition Digital Deluxe Edition - old 2" from now on.
"Some games are memorable, but years from now, people won't just remember Neverwinter Nights--they'll also still be playing." - GameSpot

Or, buying new DLC. 18 years later.

Yes, and do be careful as well. I added the EE version thinking I did not have it already, and it wasn't marked as owned. Now pending a refund!
Wish they would sort this version nightmare out!!!

A nice Bonus selling point for GOG version then, no stupid achievements, not that I really care, as I don't use Galaxy, so avoid all stupid achievements, by design.

They do mark it as owned, but only the specific version you bought.

If you buy game, and DLC separately, they would be marked as owned, but even though deluxe edition may be the same content, it would not be marked.
Don't think any algorithm system could keep up with that, as some games may have extras, via one purchase, but not the other, even though the game content is identical.

Even on the store page for this DLC and/or game, you can scroll down to the "Buy series (12) " section to see if you own it or not.

Though you'll get a refund, for your slip up, you simply can't buy the same package, twice for yourself
If you already own that package, you can only buy it as a gift code for somebody else.
