MX vs. ATV Unleashed, a classic, fun-focused arcade racer, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com

Remember the days of motocross racing, golf carting, and plain ol' flying across dusty, muddy, entirely unwelcoming but somehow irresistible tracks? It was fast-paced, it was simple, and it was all too satisfying. Now the PS2-era offroad racing magic is back, exactly as you remember it, ready for your modern PC. Between dozens of vehicles, including weird ones and flying ones (there's a monster truck, a helicopter, and biplane), every track in the game offers a ton of challenge to master in every available vehicle, all wrapped up in a neat package with the word "fun" plastered all over.

This release also includes with the custom track editor, so really, the fun never has to stop until you do. So whatever you do, keep moving.

Don't stop till you drop in MX vs. ATV Unleashed, available now, DRM-free on GOG.com

I don't think so: I see no option in the settings menu; the usual keys like Alt+Enter, F10, F11, etc don't do anything and Alt+Tab and back just return it to full screen.

That's too bad. :-/ But what about Xbox 360 controllers? Can they be configured to run the game?

If nobody's answered by the time I've got home this evening then I'll test (albeit with my Logitech F710 in XInput mode) and let you know.

And if you put a -window to the end of the shortcut launch options?

Anyway ... didn't this game have multiplayer over LAN?
And does this game have option to play with airplanes?

Hmm, racing is probably one of my least-bought genres, but this one looks like fun. Plus the curiosity factor as to how a biplane works in the game. Can I chop up bikers with my prop, or go all North-By-Northwest on the crowd? :)
Ah, I see ... yes, there are really airplanes and other stuff:

You can apparently get it to run in a window, through the use of D3D Windower.

Apparently, yes.
@Gragar: Thank you for the informations.
wishlist for now.. I was wondering why it looked so much like Motorcross Madness (Rainbow Studios..)

Edit - I only marginally like racing games, but loved Motorcross Madness. Would those who have played this one and Reflex suggest I hold off until Reflex makes it way over here... I.e. is it better??. thanks

I'm not sure how good is MX vs ATV Unleashed, but I'll gladly pay the same amount of money for Motocross Madness 2! :)

Can anyone who played both MX and MM2 compare them? Basically how good the physics are.

tinyE: Always could use more racing games in here.
Oh yeah. Richard Burns Rally, Nascar Racing 2003 Season, Viper Racing, Grand Prix Legends, 4x4 Evolution and many more, definitely have their place here!

It works nicely with my controller - all axis and buttons mapped how I want them.

No effect for me.

I've played Reflex a lot and this for only 10 minutes but they seem very similar to me so far in terms of how they play (modes, physics, etc) but, crudely put, this has PS2/XBox level models and textures whereas Reflex has PS3/360 level models and textures. I'm sure there are more differences than that but I'm very happy with this game.

I hope to replace my Reflex Steam copy with a GOG copy in the future too!

Thanks for the info!
Awesome release, instabought! Hope to see Reflex and maybe even Supercross Encore make their way here eventually. Thanks Nordic and GOG!
