Until Hitler is resurrected, I will not be be doing business with THQ Nordic.
Wasn't the original a mediocre game with hardly any content, and also abandoned on GOG? Why should I trust the sequel?

And speaking of abandoned, how's that DX11 version of Darksiders 2 coming Nordic?

Although I have not played this game before this seems fun to me, I will be playing this soon.

Well, some games/publishers joined their group (Embracer Group) recently, like Gearbox Software, Easybrain (mobile games maker) and Aspyr Media.

So... you will need to look around, what games you buy and play, if you don't want to do business with them.

I for one am happy, that they are releasing new games here.
Thanks THQ Nordic!
-Step 1

Boycott a gog

-Step 2

Boycott developers

-Step 3

End of gog. End without drm

I am not going to buy any more games in this store, I am already tired.

And the one from thq nordic should answer, but it must be hidden in a cave.

You're right, but just fyi, I was just posting random goofiness after all the seriousness, I wasn't trying to tell people what to buy or not buy.
I understand :)
Of course all of you are right, that the publishers and developers should be more responsible, when it comes to updating their products.

They shouldn't be more responsible as you put it but held responsible for taking no action to support their product sold here in a timely manner or not supporting it at all. In case of Monster Jam GOG should remove both the first and this second game unless and until developer and publisher release their patches and updates here as they should to protect unsuspecting customers from buying a bugged or outdated product. This isn't acceptable! Or, rather, shouldn't be accepted any longer.

Our money is good enough here for such ... developers/publishers, but it's too much to also offer the same support as they do on Steam. THQ isn't a small two person company after all. Decisions come with consequences and being shown the door by GOG, while not teaching those ... a lesson, because there is always still Steam they can kiss everyone's behinds.

What I would do in cases like this? Find and download a version containing patches and DLC and enjoy the heck out of it. Downloading a patched and updated version, without containing DLC not sold and bought in this store, it should be legal. Downloading only, not sharing, mind you! At least in my country this is perfectly legal ... This and other things like removing any and all DRM measures and technologies to enjoy a game or piece of software without restrictions imposed by developers or publishers ...

I put it on the wishlist and it really looks like a lot of fun! :)

But honestly; reading about the neglect on part one is not reassuring. Could you weight in on this? Its very unusual to hear that about a game from you guys.

edit: After reading Alexims post next not that unusual apparently but all the more reason for action on your (or rather your teams) side IMO.

Seeing how you couldn't care less, I am so glad I am not paying you any more money.
What a terrible developer/publisher!

It is better not to buy games from these types of developers.

thank you all, for advising
So... sad. Oh well. So we won't see games like Baja: Edge of Control HD here in the future.
This looks fun. Wishlisted.
