Outrunning oppression.

Mirror's Edge™, the energetic free-running action game with the striking visual design, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 50% launch discount.

The gleaming, utopian appearance of the city cannot fool Faith. She's seen how things are run around here, with everyday activity being monitored closely and sensitive pieces of information constantly changing hands high above the oblivious citizens. Now her sister is being framed for a crime she didn't commit and Faith must employ every bit of her resourcefulness and parkour talents to run the rooftops, avoid the authorities, and expose the truth.
The revolutionary first-person running mechanics and intense hand-to-hand combat make Mirror's Edge™ into a spectacular action romp, boosted by its pristine aesthetics and unmatched sense of flow. Leap, climb, race, and slide across the dangerous cityscape, always staying mindful of your surroundings and occasionally being ready to flee rather than fight, when the situation grows desperate.

Navigate Faith through high-speed chases atop the city's skyscrapers and discover what's hiding behind the Mirror's Edge™, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The 50% discount will last until September 29, 12:59 PM UTC.

Any reason why it costs twice as much as on Steam?

pacciulli: Never played The Sabouter. Is it good?
Yes. It is a good game. Something along the lines of ww2 assassins creed.

catpower1980: Maybe next month ;) At least now we can expect a Sims 2/3 Collection with all DLC's included...
expect is a big word
hope is more like it

but i'd buy a sims 2 collection
This is a good release! Perhaps sometime the Denuvo infested sequel "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" could arrive here in the foreseeable future.

I own the steam version but it consistently crashed for me at an early point in the game.

Here's hoping the GOG version doesn't have this issue!

Seems like they're using the US price as a base again which is 19.99$ on Steam.

Let's not forget the best part of this game - its amazing soundtrack:

Another great EA release! After Dead Space, Dragon Age, and this... I'm really hoping Mass Effect and Battlefield are around the corner.

Great. So we are not only paying more than we would on Steam, but also some additional money, because they are taking the US base price and assume that €=$. :(

Will wait for a bigger discount in that case (at least 80%). To the wishlist it goes.

And here I thought the release of dead space, Simcity 3000, and Dragon age: Origins on GOG was an unprecedented move by EA, but mirror's edge and spore? Wow!

That said though, if they're going to be releasing games like these on GOG, I would like to know why they still haven't released the sims, sims 2 and sims 3 on GOG yet?

As far as I am aware, there's no official way of purchasing the first 2 sim games anywhere, not even on origin or steam. (of course correct me if i am wrong).

Despite what people may think of these games, they are still an important part of gaming history and alot of people do enjoy them.
Does this version comes with time trials? ..or any way to implement them at all?

Just be glad that you are not in Switzerland. Because EA really wants to rip you off then. If I'd get the game on Steam it would be $30... At least here it is "only" $20. Same for the other games.
