Unusual time for a release, could this be indicative for more to follow (other releases, pre-orders, coming soon announcements) later today?

As for Minute of Islands - another one I'm going to pick up mainly for its distinctive art style.

I know this game but it cames out of nowhere, still looks really interesting!
Adventure Time on GOG?

Wishlisted looks great.
if anyone takes the plunge, I would be interested to find out if it's the usual all style, no substance thing made by people who never played a video game before but can draw pretty things, or something that actually plays well and has basic functionality, like saving anywhere, etc. also wondering how much of a platformer it is, as I prefer none in my adventure games.

We need more people who never played videogames to actually make them.

Fresh view definitely is needed.
It's actually out on GOG before Steam? The Mac requirements on the store page are currently less than helpful. They are:

Minimum:
OS: macOS Sierra 10.12 (or later)
Processor: Intel i5, 2,5 GHz Dual Core
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000
Storage: 3 GB available space

Recommended:
OS: macOS Sierra 10.12 (or later)
Processor: Intel i7, 2,5 GHz Dual Core
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 630
Storage: 4 GB available space

It really doesn't look the slightest bit like a platformer, so I'd guess not at all is most likely. I'm not sure how the term "puzzle platformer" came to be used for this type of thing, it might make sense for actual platformers with more puzzles than usual (like Blackhole for example), but it seems to more often be used to describe adventure games that are much better described as adventure games. Similar to how GOG sticks the RPG label on a bunch of games that don't really have anything in common with the type of game usually called an RPG.

yeah, it looks like a regular point & click to me, but everything has everything these days and I had to pass on another one with platforming sections (can't remember the title right now, half cartoony point & click, half frustrting platforming, came out not too long ago). guess I'll read some reviews and watch some gameplay when the price gets lower.
