Looks like fun puzzle platforming to me, which is what I crave right now.
3DS version owner of MSF 1+2 here. The games are indeed puzzle platformers. In each stage you have to capture or save a set number of girls (depending on the game) while dodging enemies and solving block based puzzles. There are a few collectables in each stage as well.

Would also like Ducktales Remastered though that one I guess isn't as big of a deal since it's DRM Free on Steam anyways.
