Full metal jungle.

<span class="bold">Men of Valor</span>, an intense FPS set in the hellish battlefields of Vietnam, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com with a 40% launch discount.

We lost a lot of good men back there, 'sarge. Some died face down in the muck, some got sniped off the chopper, some got ambushed during these hopeless reconnaissance missions the boys warned you about. We came here thinking we will find honor, the chance to do good, and perhaps even help preserve our way of life. Instead we found death, despair, darkness. But also camaraderie, persistence, valor. And this is why those of us left standing continue to press on. Lead the way, 'sarge.

Hold onto your trusty rifle and join the fray, either on foot or atop a mighty piece of heavy death-dealing machinery. Become one of the unsung Men of Valor, trying to survive in the humid jungles of Vietnam that still echo with the voices of broken men and the terrifying pandemonium of chaotic battles. Then challenge your friends to join you and make their dog tags hit the mud in six different multiplayer modes taking place in vast 24-player maps. After all, it's not about who will win this famously controversial war. It's about who will have the most fun participating in it.

Join the most controversial conflict in history and fight alongside courageous <span class="bold">Men of Valor</span>, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 40% discount will last until February 16, 1:59 PM GMT.
Solid release! Can't wait to see what are the next Nordic titles.

MJVandershonk: Thanks for the info Judas, Though I was specifically wondering if it was just deathmatch/team deathmatch or has some more uncommon mode like coop/CTF

also the gamecard seems to be missing the features section (singleplayer/multiplayer/coop).

JudasIscariot: See the attached pic for more info regarding the multiplayer modes :)
Very Useful, thanks Judas

MaxFulvus: Yes indeed, but I talked about upcoming Nordic Games releases in the future : )
What about some french versions for the other GOG games ? Is it scheduled to add them soon or one day ?
Perhaps, perhaps :)

Crosmando: >that feel when NAM is on Steam still but not here
I got NAM and WWII GI from Groupees.

Sad thing there weren't more Build engine games.

stryx: It would make sense, considering that it's a NAM game.

JMich: Finally someone commenting on the reference. It only took ~4.5 hours.
Not sure if I should be glad or disappointed it took so long.
I couldn't quite believe it, too. Had to check the rest of the thread to make sure nobody had already jumped at that.
Have the cd version. Was a pretty good Call of Duty clone set in Vietnam.

Themken: Are there are shooters where you play as Vietnamese and drive the intruders out of your country? If well done I would be interested.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7554 on Gamersgate for 10€ and soon Rising Storm 2: Vietnam
Nice, been waiting for this title to come on a modern platform for quite some time (for mah nostalgia collection).

Haven't played it in a while, but its a pretty decent game that is frustrating and difficult at time (I swear paper can withstand more bullets :P ). Played it a tonne with my brother on the original XBOX and we had a blast, the story is alright , nothing special, but it is interesting if you are into the Vietnam setting. The combat is pretty decent, again standard shooter with no special twist, aside from the fact that you are more likely to get a free GTX980 than find ammo for that M60. so for $6 id say its worth, especially if you want something set in Vietnam, but other than that wait for a deeper sale:P

As for me, I enjoyed my time with the game a lot, and it holds sentimental value for me so ill definitely pick this up, thanks Nordic!

Also while I'm feeling nostalgic, GOG we have conflict desert storm 1 here. Can we please get the rest of the conflict series (mainly Desert Storm II and Vietnam) :)

If I recall correctly, we are not having the rights on Rally Trophy, think even JoWooD already lost the rights on this title before we have acquired their games.
You can pimp the game to look pretty good using reshade.

It's a matter of personal taste :)
You could make it all monochrome or look like on an old TV and much more.

It is straight forward, download the tool, extract somewhere, add the game, add a profile and make the changes you like. Once applied, you do not need to run the tool before starting the game or anything and it is also easily removed from the game.
I suggest to take a screenshot ingame, then use the "Offline Preview" function, it will show the colour changes on the image as they will look then ingame without the need to run the game windowed or something.

Weird, this page (http://www.wsgf.org/dr/men-valor) seems to imply that you need to edit the ini file to get widescreen, but I was able to change resolution to 1920x1080 straight out of the box, with no ini editing...
