Ah, what a fine day for science!

Maize, a subversive first-person adventure about sentient plants, a grumpy mechanical teddy bear, and secret labs, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 10% launch discount.

We all make mistakes. Sometimes they result in somebody waking up in the middle of the ocean floating atop a pub sign. Others, they result in the accidental creation of sentient corn. It can happen.
Now you find yourself in this abandoned farm, aiming to figure out exactly what was taking place in the research facility below it. But more importantly, what it is that the corn actually wants. Except for the crows to leave it alone. We've pretty much established that.
As you explore the place, solve devious puzzles, and try to keep a straight face while interacting with the bizarre characters, you will begin to realize there are more surprises waiting for you around each corn-er. What is a Russian robotic teddy bear even doing here? Did the scientists fail miserably or where their goals entirely different? And will somebody teach that corn stalk some manners, already?

Get lost in a Maize full of absurd happenings, ill-tempered flora, and embarrassing government secrets, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The 10% discount will last until December 4, 5:59 PM UTC.

The animation looks awful, but the game seems pretty interesting overall. I am a sucker for absurdity if done well.
Wishlisted :)

but:

No linux version :(
No soundtrack :(
Local farmers market is doing a sale. If you go dressed as a Pirate, you can get cheap Corn on the cob.

It'll cost a Buccaneer.

Not sure what to make of it. It looks pretty, but the screenshots don't really help with getting an idea about the actual game as described on the page.

And the regional pricing is certainly not appreciated.

You, sir have won the internet for the day.
Watched Dodger's stream of this and it was great fun.
Started weird and turned out funny and still weird. :-)
What an incredibly bizarre looking game. Can't decide if interested or not.
