I don't have a problem with GOG selling porn games, all I ask is they try selling good ones...
I have to admit that the really, really good anime games are not here. For example one of my all time favorites: Tactics Ogre let us cling together. Or the Final Fantasy games.

Even in the erotic area you only have low quality stuff. The classics can be found at pages like erogedownload.com: Sengoku Rance is there, True Love is there. They are "good old games", they should be here.

Lodium: Probably because they are using the same engine and that engine has a lot of assets that looks pretty much identical
Also some devs are just plain lazy and gredy and are not willing to invest in new templates or artists that makes new pixel art and templlates and are therfore using the same thing that have been used at least 50000 times before

Its like if somone used the unreal engine but then used excatly the same assets that have used for other games countless times before
wich gets pretty boring after some time
i wish the people using the rpg maker engine or other simmalar engines at least changed it up sometimes and not used the same old assets, spirites, setting etc

Not much change except the character art and the story it seams from the screenshots and the description alone
so heres some ideas for creators since it seams lack of creativity is the standard
why not a sci fi setting?
Does the characters need to be the standard size all the time or even human look alikes?
On Ste** there is a very interesting sci-fi rpg maker game like hybris pulse of ruin. Which is very underpriced for how good the content is. Wonder why it isn't so popular or on GOG yet.
And Hybris isn't a porn game and the assets are mostly self made and some were bought for it.
Actually not sure if it belongs to sci-fi but there are some elements of it and the game is good,

So many people complaining. It's obvious why these games all look the same, low budget and cheap to produce.


I would like GOG to release some other Eroge titles, like the first Seed of the dead and slave princess Sarah.
Seed of the Dead: sweet home had a damn stealth release here, and it would have been nice if their other titles got released here. And let them host their adult patches here instead of us needing to go offsite.

Boy, I sure do love yet another RPGMaker/GameMaker based game. As if it wasn't getting old when Freebird Games⸮ was using the engine to roll out barely interactive experiences, now we've got to deal with images that wouldn't even pass the danbooru sniff test in 2011.

TheGrimLord: This is simple. It's the anime and manga style, so yes. All the characters have to be standard size, look human and there have been "a few" scifi games in this genre, but most are fantasy inspired because of RPG Maker being conceived as an engine to make traditional RPG games. You see a few branch out every now and again, but it's mostly going to be the fantasy setting.

Also, please keep in mind that these games were not made for the rest of the world. They're made by the Japanese for the Japanese doujin market. These are essentially the bulk of Japan's indie games market. And again, different audience and more focus on eroticism then say, the western market.

Frostyfirefly: Has any person of culture played this one? I am curious about its erotic content; despite being almost identical, Kagura Games usually have some sort of fetish going on for each of their games (Steam Girl has a bunch of sex with gangsters, Makina contains situations with villagers and monsters, etc.). I wonder if this one takes on specific naughty situations, or if it's just a variety of compromising situations.

TheGrimLord: Just hop in Kagura's Discord. They create a new channel for their latest game as soon as it comes out. So you can hop in there and people will tell you exactly what it has. Always use their Discord when you want to know about their games.

just want a bit varriaton
If you only eat one sorts of food all the time most people end up getting bored of it
at least thats the case for me

Not eroge, but this is a good example of what RPG Maker can achieve without having groundbreaking innovations:

And the game even uses a super old version of the engine on top of that.

And the eroges Another Story of Fallen Maidens 1 and 2, at least in my opinion, seem like good examples of how to implement animations to RPG Maker games. (wishlists just created but not linking them here because, well, eroges).

And if people don't mind same-y graphics and sounds but like gameplay premises that are rather creative (and potentially even useful outside of gaming), there's the Learn Japanese to Survive trilogy made on RPG Maker MV, which, as far as I know, could even be compiled to Android:

Meanwhile

USA is the biggest adult industry in the world, churning out porn videos by the thousands. Playboy magazines pioneered the "Gentlemen magazine" followed by many magazine publishers around the world. Porn industry also thriving in Europe where they're more open with sexuality. Also so far I can recall, most adult websites also pioneered from western side of the globe. The website domain name sex(dot)com was sold for millions of dollars!

And how about video games? Oh my, the first porn video game in the world was made by an AMERICAN programmer! It was text based game, called "Softporn" in 1981 (GOG really need to release it, since, y'know, it's an old game)

Well, it used to come with the Leisure Suit Larry collection, and I have it in my library from that, but checking the page now doesn't make any mention of it anymore. Was it removed from it at some point?

I did some check up on LSL forum, and found out the game indeed got removed. Luckily you can download it freely from Al Lowe's website for free http://allowe.com/downloads/games.html
What surprised me the most is that we can download his old Donald Duck game. I guess Disney don't care about their old video games like Maui Mallard.

Might I suggest Kagura Games to release a few other games that are in their own store but not here?
Thinking mostly of games that aren't those "same-y" RPG Makers games people would expect, like Lilipalace, Lilitales, Succumate, Sister Travel, Kimagure Temptation, etc.

Thinking again, and the game looks a bit more decent than the usual if I focus on the UI and the VN dialogues. It's more the background areas where you walk around that were irking me, since apparently they use those default assets from RPG Maker.
