Probably because they are using the same engine and that engine has a lot of assets that looks pretty much identical
Also some devs are just plain lazy and gredy and are not willing to invest in new templates or artists that makes new pixel art and templlates and are therfore using the same thing that have been used at least 50000 times before

Its like if somone used the unreal engine but then used excatly the same assets that have used for other games countless times before
wich gets pretty boring after some time
i wish the people using the rpg maker engine or other simmalar engines at least changed it up sometimes and not used the same old assets, spirites, setting etc

Not much change except the character art and the story it seams from the screenshots and the description alone
so heres some ideas for creators since it seams lack of creativity is the standard
why not a sci fi setting?
Does the characters need to be the standard size all the time or even human look alikes?

That's all they sell from Kagura. That's why Kagura is cheaper than most of the Japanese market. Surprisingly, they seem to be popular in Japan, or at least the RPG Maker format. As he said, it's the same assets a lot of the time. These are all small indie devs in their basements churning out these things. Would not be surprised if some of them were legit hikikomori.

Has any person of culture played this one? I am curious about its erotic content; despite being almost identical, Kagura Games usually have some sort of fetish going on for each of their games (Steam Girl has a bunch of sex with gangsters, Makina contains situations with villagers and monsters, etc.). I wonder if this one takes on specific naughty situations, or if it's just a variety of compromising situations.

This is simple. It's the anime and manga style, so yes. All the characters have to be standard size, look human and there have been "a few" scifi games in this genre, but most are fantasy inspired because of RPG Maker being conceived as an engine to make traditional RPG games. You see a few branch out every now and again, but it's mostly going to be the fantasy setting.

Also, please keep in mind that these games were not made for the rest of the world. They're made by the Japanese for the Japanese doujin market. These are essentially the bulk of Japan's indie games market. And again, different audience and more focus on eroticism then say, the western market. Just hop in Kagura's Discord. They create a new channel for their latest game as soon as it comes out. So you can hop in there and people will tell you exactly what it has. Always use their Discord when you want to know about their games.

GOG should at least go for some more unique RPG Maker titles if they want games from that engine so much.
Maybe I'll create some wishlist entries for such unique games, and not just for the smut ones.

Thanks for the information, although I usually look for sources outside of official Discords, to get a more unbiased opinion; I've found that many of the Discords for different games and such, tend to be a bit too biased.
