Crime for some fun.

Mafia II and Mafia III are now available, DRM-Free on GOG.com. Each of the three Mafia games is 50% off individually or 66% off if you purchase them all together (the Family special, if you will). Offer lasts until April 05, 6pm UTC.

Mafia II tells the highly cinematic story of Vito and Joe, two Empire Bay friends in the 50s, who start out thick as thieves. Also extortionists. Sometimes assassins. All around wise guys. As their status inside the family grows, so will their troubles, requiring them to shoot, race, punch, or simply outlast everything the criminal life throws at them.

Mafia III introduces Lincoln, a hardened Vietnam veteran who thinks he's earned himself a fresh start, away from his criminal past. But life has other plans and those include betrayal, fierce gunfights, and brutal action, as he's forced to carve himself a path to the top of organized crime through the sweaty, treacherous swamplands of New Bordeaux.
Boost his firepower and expand upon his dramatic story with the DLC packs Sign of the Times, Stones Unturned, Faster, Baby!, and Family Kick Back Pack.
Or simply go for the Deluxe Edition, which includes the whole lot of them.

Wow, thank you so much for doing such a great job getting new games in the library GOG!

I had Mafia II on my Steam wishlist, but now I'm going to remove it and buy it from GOG.
I like weeks like this GOG, first Monkey Island and now this ;)

Pity to see Mafia 3 still has tons of separate DLCs.

Does Mafia 2 feature all the original radio music?

mechmouse: unfortunately not, the cost or relicensing would be imposible
Sigh.....

Off wishlist then. Have it on Steam anyway and backed up my music folder.

I believe there are ways to get/transfer the music. but you'd have to look it up.

Faster baby faster DLC is broken beyond repair. Don't ever buy it. The main quest is so buggy, you are not able to finish it. The only good DLC is the one, there you restore the bar of your uncle. Gives you something to pay for with your ingame money.

I got the gam,e on steam. No need to buy it here again, without the musc. Makes no sense.

There is a deluxe version with all DLC included: https://www.gog.com/game/mafia_iii_deluxe_edition

MadalinStroe: Have you not noticed that whenever THQ Nordic releases a game on GOG, there are some people that complain that they will not buy said game on GOG due to lack of achievements, thus claiming that the version on GOG is inferior? Because, I have noticed them. GOG should never have introduced unlockable achievements via Galaxy.
Actually, I haven't noticed, but expected as much. Still, it's their right to make that choice and inform the company of the reason they choose not to purchase the games, even if we don't agree with said decision. Feedback about why people choose not to purchase a product is useful to companies.

I grew up playing games decades before achievements and do not need them, but they are not being forced on anyone, so I don't see where the problem is. Unlike many services, with GOG they are an optional toggle for an optional client. These people have the right to ask a company why they do not include a now standard feature, when they do for other services. I would rather skip past comments that appear tiresome to me (covering my ears), than cover people's mouths with "tape", just because an optional feature is not my taste.
Good luck running Mafia 3, driving drops fps down to 15-20. I had to uninstall because unplayable. I refuse to resort to third party mods because i'm afraid of included malware.

Argh. GOG, you f*cked up again. Or I did. So there is no mention of the deluxe edition of Mafia 3, neither on the front page nor the game page. So i bought the regular, and as there is no upgrade path. I want the DLC, so basically the only option is to buy the DLC for more than the actual deluxe edition would cost full price. Goddammit...

Good news! Thanks GOG!
Mafia II is a superb Addition the GOG catalogue. Mafia III is good to have too. At least for the moment, when I get a PC that can handle it. :-P
And since the community provides fixes for most of the issues like the one with the soundtracks (which GOG often are NOT allowed to fix) I don't understand, why some react sour to the releases.
The GOG-is-not-curating-anymore-because-Mafia3-is-here-argument is really strange, too. Even if the third game is not as good as the other entries in the series - I certainly want to give it a chance, at least for a few hours and get it DRM-free for that.
Keep up the good work! (Monkey Island 3, yay!)
