Crime for some fun.

Mafia II and Mafia III are now available, DRM-Free on GOG.com. Each of the three Mafia games is 50% off individually or 66% off if you purchase them all together (the Family special, if you will). Offer lasts until April 05, 6pm UTC.

Mafia II tells the highly cinematic story of Vito and Joe, two Empire Bay friends in the 50s, who start out thick as thieves. Also extortionists. Sometimes assassins. All around wise guys. As their status inside the family grows, so will their troubles, requiring them to shoot, race, punch, or simply outlast everything the criminal life throws at them.

Mafia III introduces Lincoln, a hardened Vietnam veteran who thinks he's earned himself a fresh start, away from his criminal past. But life has other plans and those include betrayal, fierce gunfights, and brutal action, as he's forced to carve himself a path to the top of organized crime through the sweaty, treacherous swamplands of New Bordeaux.
Boost his firepower and expand upon his dramatic story with the DLC packs Sign of the Times, Stones Unturned, Faster, Baby!, and Family Kick Back Pack.
Or simply go for the Deluxe Edition, which includes the whole lot of them.

mechmouse: Don't know of OP's situation but I've actually had it happen to me
I'm telling him it doesn't happen on Steam. Your examples aren't Steam games vanishing.

Sorry I read he'd lost a game because of the release of Steam (and its subsequent domination), not from his Steam library

I guess his words are kind of vague. "I lost two games because of Steam DRM." I dunno. All I know is when Steam and GOG remove games from sale anyone who bought them still has them. There are no exceptions to this, as far as I know. It would be a huuuuuuge issue if it ever happened, and get a lot of attention.

AFAIK it's only happened once so far: https://www.geek.com/games/valve-pulls-game-from-steam-library-for-the-first-time-even-if-you-bought-it-1580981/
Interesting info, thanks for the link. Since it was an online only game that was shutdown though I don't think it's reason to get the pitchforks out. I'm surprised they don't wipe every shut down MMO actually. Can you still download Star Wars Galaxies through Steam?
More 2K games!! \o/

Now bring us BioShock too. :)
HOLY F*******

MADRE DE DIOS

Must buy

Pity to see Mafia 3 still has tons of separate DLCs.

Does Mafia 2 feature all the original radio music?

unfortunately not, the cost or relicensing would be imposible
Interesting. Personally, I'm not terribly interested in the Mafia franchise, but I hope that means we'll also see other recent(ish) 2K games pop up on GOG.
Quite the surprise. Great to new releases on GOG!
Not eligible for GOG connect? :(
Good work, 2K!!!

Now, be good and release Bioshock: The collection... (you know, the pack with the two original Bioshocks, plus the remastered editions, plus Bioshock Infinite...
Cool release, did not expect Mafia 3 here that soon. Thumbs up. The Soundtrack on Mafia 3 was great... the games was not as bad as the reviews make one think, some objectives were quite repetetive, but I did not try the DLCs, maybe they changed some stuff.

Andrey82: Link please for Mafia 2 music restoring tutorial!!!
Installation:

Drag the folder called "sds" found in the mod's .zip file to "C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Mafia II/pc".

If you're running a non-Steam version, drag it to your "Mafia II/pc" folder, wherever it may be.

I'm sure, you know how to use Google.
You'll find the mod there.
Anyone of You know the exact difference between the soudtrack of the Steam version of MAFIA 2 and this version??...
