amok: Not sure where you’re getting the RPG part from, they call it a tactical action game. There’s no mention of RPG elements or mechanics anywhere.

Or is the real issue that they made an original game instead of copying one you like?

dnovraD: Tactical action, huh?

Is there ATB? Because it just looks like Hack & Slash, except without the infinite piles of loot to sort though.

I'm saying things that it's near fuzzy matches to in genre, which I'm trying to figure out where it lies.
Where it most definitely does not belong is among RPGs. There are no hints or claims that it is an RPG, neither in the OP nor on the game page. So when you tried to 'find out where it lies,' you started by ignoring what both the developer and GOG explicitly said about it and just... what, made something up?

I made comparison points to games I'm familar with and vested in; akin to or alike, not speaking in absolutes.

'That other game I know has graphics, and it’s an RPG. This game also has graphics. I don’t need to know anything more - it must be an RPG!'

No wonder you got it so wrong. Next time, don’t just look at the pretty pictures, at least try reading the blurb. Or better yet, check the game page and see what the developer actually says about it.

Please don't be this wrong on purpose. I'm not exactly normal, but you're reading this terribly wrong.
It reminds me of something akin
It's not exactly a hard phrase to understand.
Wishlisted!
