DD & Ji Ji: Why every forum troll act like a martyr ?
Everyone's a victim nowadays. That's the only behavior that modern society rewards.
why would anyone want to buy a censored version of a game is baffling to me. marketing the m version would only be acceptable on a platform like Nintendo and their child audience.

Framboos: Just to confirm - yes, the uncensored versions of the Lust games are coming to GOG. :)
Yay! We did it!
I also wonder if it's because the devs weren't aware that GOG allows AO releases now...? In any case, I'm really happy to hear they're coming. Ready and waiting with a stack of bills to throw at the screen.

MarkoH01: If you are turned off by< a game with sexual content maybe you should not buy games with "LUST" in the title? Also, I don't have any tits.
I haven't played the game so I can't confirm this, but other users in this thread have stated that the AO version of the game includes scenes of rape. Many people are extremely uncomfortable about the topic of rape entirely and they certainly don't want to see it, fictional or not. It is entirely possible to enjoy horror and to enjoy sexual content while simultaneously wanting to avoid seeing scenes of rape.

For reference, the disclaimer on the Steam store page for the AO version is "LUST FROM BEYOND contains sex and nudity, extreme and sexual violence and it's not suitable for viewers under 18". I think it's safe to assume that when most people hear the term "lust", they don't think of sexual violence.

As for tits, yes, you do have them; all humans do. Yours may not be big, but you still have them. Not-so-fun fact: Men can get breast cancer.

Believe it or not, many people enjoy horror and they enjoy sexual content, but they don't enjoy sexual violence, which (according to the developer) is part of the AO version of the game.

Lust covers both the violent and none violent kind of sexual stuff and its usually in reports used towards violent sexual predators too both towards those who comment such acts to adults and childern .. aswell as crimes of passion and even murder.. so Lust can and does fit for what this AO game says it has when knowing how Lust can be used and often gets used in actual crime reports aswell .. just saying granted I am one big on crime programs about real/true life crimes so I might just be a wierd one that thinks of Lust in both good and bad fashion at about the same time when I see it on a title that clearly has horror theme or other sorts of themes going on

Oddly enough, Nintendo stated some years ago they'd no longer censor 3rd party games release in their platform, leaving the decision to the devs and rating boards.

KasperHviid: Dunno, I mean, why would they bother? I mean, pretty much every release on this site turns into some kinda controversity somehow.

Yeah Sony is the worst censoring Culprit at the moment followed by Microsoft.
I don't think Nintendo will ever lose the "for kids" reputation but the switch is far from a kiddy console.

There haven't been any news regarding the non-butchered version, I guess the devs/pubs dropped gog?
