So I got in touch with the devs on Twitter in a calm and professional manner. They got back to me and said they are talking to GOG right now about it, with a winky face. Hopefully this means we'll get the unrated, Lust For Darkness and the prequel here as that's what I asked for. Just calm down. We might not hear anything until Monday proper.

All right ... good to hear ... thanks for the info

ChrisCh22: Wow, so many comments complaining about censorship, when being censored is literally the POINT of this M edition.
What a PR joke: "Now finally, like many of you wanted: the censored and crippled version of a game that was originally intended to be aimed at adults. Get your kid and loved once and play a nice, funny and harmless round of LUST from BEYOND!"

WHO the heck is asking for a censored game that is called LUST from BEYOND?

Snowslinger: GOGers are so perverted. Disgusting.
Better get a dictionary and look up the word. Seeing or acting sex scenes in a game has nothing to do with perversion at all.

Believe me, there are people who prefer the censored version. The game wouldn't be released at all if there wasn't a demand for it. That said, I'm hoping that the uncensored version along with the first game in the series will arrive here at some point.

Also a general remark to the discussants (especially Krogan32 and fronzelneekburm). Please remain civil and don't bring arguments that can be offending to other users.

I highly doubt that the tiny number of those people is the reason this gimped version got released (there is an in-game option to blur certain elements of the game already built in), I honestly think it's a compromise to sell the game in regions where the original version got region locked.

Don't forget they're looking to port it to consoles as well. There's no way in hell the original version would fly on any console without being censored.

I'm curious what differences there are between this version and the original's in-game censored mode. As I mentioned in my other post, streamers are another audience they're clearly targeting. So if the original's censored mode wasn't "clean" enough for Twitch, I can see how that would lead to the devs wanting to make a super cut version to cover all bases.

Restrictive countries, consoles, and streaming platforms... the holy trifecta of censorship! Hahahaha. Hah... ._.

If the game is good, people will want to play it. If it's stuffed with explicit sexual content, a lot will be turned off, ironically. Just because some people like explicit content doesn't mean everyone will. It is ok to like sexual content and not want explicit depictions. Calm your tits.

In fact, by biggest shock here is that the lewd crowd is surprised that people might want to play a game like this but NOT have the explicit content, like they can't fathom some kind of world where people can enjoy sexual themes and content without liking the detailed depictions of such.

Then why haven't you banned fronzeineekburm yet for calling me the same name, "Kromagnon" at least five times, which I've reported every single one? Or, how he started the whole situation by calling people here, "some of the gog forum's most egregious intellectual lightweights to rear their ugly heads." He constantly does things like this, yet, as usual, he keeps on skirting the rules. Odd. How many times does it take for someone to be personally attacked before action is taken? 10? 50? 100? Never? This is why the GoG forums are currently how they are: full of individuals that can outright attack others, spammers, downvoting bots, people spreading conspiracy theories about moderators and GoG staff manipulating everything from review sections to creating downvote bots for posters who attack GoG.

If you are turned off by< a game with sexual content maybe you should not buy games with "LUST" in the title? Also, I don't have any tits.
