Looking forward to play it. The series is a pretty funny porn parody of several well-known fantasy series.

Also not a pure VN, if you play the sandbox mode. That way it's not so linear and you have to figure out some stuff yourself.

Almost-always is. The one exception I can think off the top of my head is House Party. Well... Subverse is real-time 3D, but it does not make use of it in any meaningful way, so it may as well be pre-rendered too.

House Party isn't a VN and the person you were replying to was only asking about THIS game and not all AO games on GOG. Just to be clear: We have several VNs on GOG and several other type of adult oriented games. The impression that House Party and Subversive would be the only non VN oriented game on GOG is completely wrong.

Yeah, basically what I thought looking at screenshots that it's like House Party with free exploration and so on. But turns out it's just a VN with 3D graphics.

Neither the original question nor I used the term "VNs" nor did we mention game genres in general, so this educational speech about which game is a VN and which one is not was completely pointless. I was talking about games with real-time 3D rendering, regardless of genre. You also either missed or do not understand the meaning of "off the top of my head".

Sadly your Linux "support" is getting worse and worse, GOG. Not even packaging the Linux starter of RenPy games is very disappointing and almost hostile towards Linux users.
