Klumpen0815: No ... WINE package for this?
I really want to complete some other games first, but I did try this briefly with Wine(-staging).
It seemed workable, but not without winetricks quartz and icodecs.
gog has gone full smut-peddler. I approve! Day 1 instabuy!

KneeTheCap: I totally wrote that down and will try your advice next time!

tinyE: Just rent "Boogie Nights".
Noted.

But in all honesty, does anyone know how in the holy hell do I hire actors in the second stage of this game? I know how to hire staff but not actors. I know there's the magazine on the table where I can place adverts. I do so, the game takes my money and then... nothing. How long does it take for a single actor to be interested?

And why there's no manual in the extras?
Weird .. I thought it was "WET - The sexy Empire".
Whatever, time to revive the good old times with Lula :>

Also, concerning the missing manual, I think I might have the original CD Version flying around somewhere, at least the german one. Assuming there is a manual provided inside, where could I send it to?

stg83: So its finally here thanks to all the perverts that voted for this game on the wishlist. :P
You're welcome :D

I'm one of the proud 719 distinguished gentlemen (and ladies?) who voted for this so I'll definitely have to add this to my Gog collection in the near future. It puts the most extremely wide smile on my face whenever a game I voted for gets added, especially if it only had a modest number of votes. Didn't expect this to be released anytime soon so it's a pleasant surprise.

-cerberus-: So Lula is ok but HATRED is a big no-no? And to eliminate any misunderstandings: I want both to be available on GOG.
I know I'm late to respond to this, but I really don't see the comparison. Hatred is a (godawful) mass shooting simulator made by very sick and talentless people. The whole mentality behind it screams "far-right movement", like Pegida or Golden Dawn. And unlike Postal (which is on GOG), it has no historical importance other than what people choose to give it right now. GOG has no reason to carry it.

I can't say I'm thrilled that Lula is on here, but it's a semi-famous old game. And they've already got Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude Uncut, which is probably worse. Plus, neither game is nearly as reprehensible as Hatred, so what's your point here?

I had the manual, but now I can only find the CD. This is somewhat depressing me.

Wait... or was it just a booklet inside the jewel case?... Let me check.

Nope. Just a card. And it was definitely a manual like the one in the picture :((

"Honey, I swear this is only a business simulation game. Really!"
Since this is UIG's launch title on gog, is there any chance we'll get the even more critically maligned sequels here? Or Pineview Drive? Or at least some token simulators?
