Out of office. Out of sight. Out of trouble.

Level 22 Gary's Misadventures, a stealth game about doing whatever's necessary to avoid getting fired, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com for Windows and Mac.

Studies show that, to the modern man, losing your job is a more common fear than dying. It's nowhere near spiders or missing your wedding anniversary, of course, but still pretty damn scary. Gary knows this fear all too well and when he wakes up late after a wild night out, arriving at work undetected is his only option. But there are 22 floors full of workplace hazards and disapproving eyes standing in his way.

Closets, air vents, huge photocopy machines, and sleeping guards are your friends. But what you can't sneak around, you can move out of the way. Lure guards from their posts with two-day-old donuts, use malfunctioning equipment as distractions, poison your co-workers or knock them out cold - anything goes as long as you get to keep your job! Afterwards, you can pat yourself on the back and treat your mates to some late night drinks and a cool story. Oh wait...

Get down to work and work out a way to arrive at your work unnoticed in Level 22 Gary's Misadventures, DRM-free on GOG.com.

krillehog: You can compare the old trailer with the new trailer.
Good catch! :D

Indeed, the new trailer clearly shows the """changes""" they've introduced to gameplay. You could almost say both trailers belong to completely different games...

muntdefems: In the interest of the consumer I must say that the game is available right now for 1.25€ at FireFlower Games.

Plus, it includes the Linux version which is (again!) missing here on GOG, and there's no regional pricing.

jorlin: Yes, missing Linux versions is a irritating trend.
Yup. It's why I'm not considering getting this game on GOG.

I'm trying to move away from Windows, and while Wine is great I'd rather just get games with a native Linux version in the first place.

ETA: It looks like there's some kind of remake going around and different sites have different versions? Nevermind this game at all then, if the devs can't be bothered to keep sites updated with with the same version. We have enough of that already. It looks interesting, but I've got literally hundreds of games I haven't played yet.

This game is a weird case alright. As I pointed out earlier in this thread, the original devs (Noego) are not the ones responsible for the alleged "remake" (moving player).

Then, there are reasons to believe the supposed "remake" has never taken place (see krillehog's post).

So yeah, without further proof my only possible conclusion is that the game is indeed the exact same that was released in 2014 and the only differences are:
· Lack of a Linux version
· Higher price
· Regional pricing
