Yes, and they typically have dead giveaways or hallmarks. Three main menu options in a lower centred box, left centred menu on a black background, having action sequences or platforming but sucking at them...only a few RPG Maker games really rise above, in spite of the engine. Like Jimmy & The Pulsating Mass or Lisa: The Painful.

Was going to say the same, hell, even the chipsets are messily cropped with no neat edging to them, yeah I won't buy an RPG maker game unless it's with a 75-90% discount!

That said, I'm still glad to see more JRPGs here! Although I'm gonna wait for a very steep sale for this one, into the wish-list it goes!

Good to see more paid hentai releases. With each new game, the developers of the medium become more capable of making better games. I keep seeing the puritans saying "low quality!", without giving a thought of why. It took decades for indie developers to have the ability make games that equal or surpass their AAA rivals - and that required resources, community, and experience to get there.

If you are perverse and interested in Lelie, don't feel ashamed and pick up a copy. Each dollar in the hentai industry means a developer is getting closer to making the Warcraft III or Half-Life of perverted games - and you get to have some fun today.

It's not actually a real JRPG though, it's a porn game. You're supposed to install a patch that then uses hentai mechanics, so I believe the base game won't be some stellar JRPG, check the game's reviews on Steam. People buy it just because it's a porn game. Also most games like these are usually rape games, so I don't recommend trying them out for anyone going like "Oh cool, this is going to be some nice, dating gamelike Huniepop with explicit scenes etc." No. It's usually just a rape game with fetishes like bestiality, monster rape etc...I'm really surprised why does GOG let trash like this on the store.

Unless you knew that, of course, but I'm warning you in case you thought it's a real JRPG.

If it looks like an RPGmaker game and it appears on GOG, there's 80% chance it will be a hentai game and not some indie JRPG, because GOG very rarely allows non-porn indie RPGmaker games.
