Stranger still is that Zwei: The Arges Adventure was originally part of the sale, but is now showing as "Coming Soon" with a release date of today. There is definitely some backdoor coding happening on the site right now.

The project page has a free pre-alpha prologue, clearly that's not the same as a lets play of the current game but I figured I'd mention it.

How does this have such a low rating already, with absolutely no reviews showing up?

I haven't bought it yet, managed to come when I was pretty much flat broke and will be for a few months, but I played the demo of this and even in early alpha it was at least decent with a lot of potential for improvement.

My biggest complaint was the atrocious English, but I heard they got someone in to help them out with that, so if the brain bleed inspiring translations have been fixed I can't see how this wouldn't be a game worth picking up.

Heck, even if they haven't been fixed, it'd still be worth playing.

Thanks for the link. So I guess combat is turn-based with twich/skill tests for every action. Reminds me of Shadow Hearts, a game that I sort of liked until near the end, where I had to use the triple-twich wheel just to use a vending machine successfully. I've played other games with such mechanics as well (e.g. The Legend of Dragoon, Gladius), and I suppose it didn't aggravate me too much most of the time. I wonder how far this game takes the real-time twich mechanic.

Still waiting for a JRPG for old adults. :P ( And no, don't post links to some erotic game -- the main audience for those are horny teenagers, too. )

Anyhow, this actually looks interesting. The 2D backgrounds and real-time 3D fights bring back some nice nostalgic feelings, from a time when I still loved the genre. I may have to pick it up at some point in the future.

Fortuk: It´s confusingly worded, but I think it means to say that you can play fully with either keyboard+mouse or a controller, but will occasionally need a keyboard or controller for certain prompts if you´re going to play with only the mouse.
The wording isn't great, as long as i don't need a pad happy days.

Glad to have you! Could you confirm whether you can play the game with mouse+keyboard? The store description is a little vague in this regard.
