gamesfreak64: Regarding crazy specs for games: many (new) games seem to have ridiculous specs, when looking at the graphics of many games ( a lot seem to look like 16 bit amiga/pc games from the past) you often wonder: why were they able to do with less powerful machines in the 80s and create marvellous games. and today they need a top performance pc to run a game.

clarry: It's true that many games are poorly optimized. But it is also true that the specs are pulled out of thin air; they really only serve to disclaim liability and few devs seem to care enough to actually go and find out what's the realistic minimum spec PC that can run the game at all, or smoothly.

In other words, many games run just fine on "low end" hardware even if the specs are ridiculous.

Yeah the lack of platform support is ridiculous.

With the same money, you can get a movie with deeper story and no silly meaningless choices to interrupt the show. And you can play it back on whatever.
yes the specs are ridiculous the sad thing is lots of games have specs like this, if there were only few then it wouldn't be that bad but they are everywhere.

I checked my games at steam and i noticed a new beat em up clone : old style beat' em up like the games we used to play but this time with: Bud Spencer and Terence Hill , its a Double Dragon but now with Bud and Terence

The sad thing is it has the same white shadow effect which means that when chars. hit eachother the animations turn bright white , never understood why this had to be done, imo it doesnt add anything, why don't they just show numbers with a minus sign and that will do just fine , but no they have to flash it white , thats why i avoid buying games that flash too much, besides the flashing adds nothing too the game
(except sore/tired and drye eyes after watching too many of them).

minus points like -12 -23 - 2 and the like would do and the usual ' red splatters' when a character is hit, but these could also be left out cause we have the - numbers showing the health is decreasing because of hits.
They should allow an option to turn the flashes off on the menu, more game menu control will always benefit a game.

Anyway the game looks okay ...
