You must solve puzzles, collect clues, and piece together the mysteries still haunting the place if you hope to reach your little sister.

Get the OST for your collection (also 10% off), containing 26 tracks from Swedish composer Patrik Jarlestam.
Buying the OST together with the game grants you an additional 10% discount.

I wonder if one day some ambitious modder will combine all those walking simulators into one impossibly long, ass-numbingly boring game that will elevate tedium to a whole new level.
This looks like my kinda thing - wishlisted.

Not sure if the comment is applicable for this game. Looks like puzzle-based adventure. Are you agains walking in games in general? ;)
Funny .

The graphics reminded me for the non modded Oblivion and Skyrim .

Spot on. Quoting the game's description:
Lake Ridden is a story-driven puzzle mystery, focusing on narration and atmosphere. It's not a horror game or a walking simulator.

Maybe I'm off the mark on this one. It's just that something along the lines of "atmospheric, story-driven mystery game" in the description of a FPP adventure game usually means "walking simulator".
Hm. This just looks like someone took a map from Uru/Myst V and cranked the bloom.

The story sounds a bit more like the Mansion of Hidden Souls, where your goal is to rescue your butterfly turned sister before you also become a butterfly. Yes, really.

Take a look at the screenshots... Mysty puzzles clearly visible.

Strangely enough a lot of people also think The Guest a walking sim, although it's clearly a FPP point'n'click adventure (and pretty good too).

Because everyone knows it's impossible for former inhabitants to use paper to write notes and/or recording devices to tell stories...

Hah, I had that game for the Sega Saturn, back in the day. Not sure if I ever completed a playthrough, I just remember it was pretty weird.

They wouldn't be former inhabitants if they were still around, eh?

So, it's a walking sim or an adventure game?
