gamesfreak64: 100% achievements usually at steam.... steam is like mister achievements , they love achievements
maybe its because i am a classic gamer, old timer , and we had no achievements , internet was not common as it is now... so we had to cheer for ourselves in our rooms and say: weldone chap for your achievement.
Anyway gaming is gaming , why all the achievements boosting ? A game doesnt get better or adds more value when it has achievements, when i wanted to boost myself i join online games, and then get a nice achievement in the online all star heroes and top scorers, or as a kid went to the arcade hall , and the waste a bag full of coins ( guilders) and the i got into the hall of fame ( HOF) and all the kids in the neighborhood saw what i achieved.
zlaywal: I'm not trying to argue about achievement. Everyone have their own opinion about it and it just a matter of preference. But since the game have achievement on Steam and GOG have Galaxy (which achievement is one of its features), what make the Gog version sold here not?
Aahh thats another thing, because something is basically supported in the game itself does not mean it is supported everywhere....Steam = Steam , GamersGate = Gamersgate and GOG .... well GOG is GOG.
Maybe , just maybe it might be because of the fact GOG started DRM free and thus had no client when the first started, maybe they had it in mind or stashed around somewhere i dont know, joined in 2014 because if they had prepaid options at the start i would have joined at the start of GOG.
Steam ( drm huggers) gamersgate ( basically started drm free had a big mouth about steam but now the majority of their games are Steam and if not will be Steam very soon.... many drm free games were removed and need to be downloaded from steam, so why GG (gamersgate) is going this way i dont know, chances are big they migth end up in Steam, most games they sell and new games they get are Steam only)
Anyway, if things continue this way with GOG being one of the few DRM free.... it will become hard, if the majority of the internet loves DRM, loves restrictions, love telemetry and more nasty spying on users( customers) then the last man standing might be joing soon ..... internet was supposed to be open and free but soon the world will be 'free' instead of free and democracy will stay but will be written with a k: thats Demockracy ( perfect example is EU ( not to be mistaken with Europe ( Europe = great)
So things will change for certain but only for the worst, not for the good, the free west might become 'free' west and the ones that wore 'free' become rally free, things are switching very fast.....
WinterSnowfall: So it seems I have to ask on this one as well... where is the Linux version? Will it be released soon?
maybe they will be release soon, or maybe it will take a little lonegr and they will arrive soooooooooooooooooon
more oos , so a little more time is taken before they will be released.
