Critically acclaimed old school point n' click adventure is joining our catalog – we’re talking, of course, about Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World, launching with a -30% discount until July 15th, 1 PM UTC!

Ah well thanks for looking English audio at the moment is only on the GOG version then.

I'm very happy too see such enthusiasim for Kaptain Brawe :)

To adress the confusion, the English voices were added very recently. In fact, the GOG release is the first version that has them. We're working on updating the Steam and mobile versions of the game next.

We also made some more minor improvements to gameplay and improved Linux support for this version.

We're also working on some more improvements to the game, such as full gamepad support, so stay tuned;


We hope you like the game and we hope you enjoy the new voiceovers! :))

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for the information, and for keeping the game active via updates and for bringing the game here DRM free as well.

I'll grab the game on Steam now as you've said it will have English audio soon (and the game is that good!)

mk47at: I've looked at the files on steamdb and it does not have any spx files in an en subfolder like the GOG version has.

Yes! Thank you! I've been waiting for this, even had the notification bell set.
This game looks awesome; I love the colorful art style.
The only thing is, I kind of spent my budget for this month already... *sigh*
But maybe I'll allow myself to make an exception here. :-)

Watched the trailer; was hoping for beer-driven computers and ballistic space travel (ala J. Verne's way). So waiting for a stand-alone expansion. (humbly proposing the title of "Thus Spoke Jules" , can't resist, sorry!)

I might have to revisit this game on Steam once the English voices are added the less I have to talk when I do my playthroughs plus when I played this game the first time on Twitch I had a bad cough trying to do voices when you are suffering from a cold is not the best combo lol

Some one else said in another thread that devs can get special colored text for their accounts from gog. You might want to ask them about it in between working on games.
