Great, I was waiting for this.
But I was hoping that we would get a 55% discount like Steam. :(

GOG.com: Release: Kaptain Brawe: A Brawe New World
Nice release.

But, please, GOG - don't give us too much info!

XD

I've been looking forward to this one. There's too many other point & clicks from my wishlist currently on sale to pick it up immediately, but still good to see it here.
I just loved the art design! To the wish list. Thank you, GOG and Cateia Games. :)
Nice game, I liked it. Strange thing is that only the German version has voice-overs (which are rather good), the english version is text only.

Are you sure? The game's page lists english audio.

GOG's version has english text and audio. (I've just launched it to double check.)

What makes you think that?

That's strange. I purchased the game years ago digitally and it was without voice-overs in english. I guess they added it later or for this release. The game initially came as an installer, if I remember correctly (at least that's how I got it). If you search for gameplay videos from ten years ago, you'll find that there are no voice-overs in the english version. For example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uurjdt11ZNM

Not really, the original digital version on Steam was english text only (no audio) and retail is german only (you need to use the fan translation patch on it to get english text.) GOG's version is english on both audio and text.

Steam has also had an update to the game so it might have english audio now i'm not sure.

Yes, that's what I say. The german version added voices. Was there even an english retail version? I'll check the Steam version for voices. Cateia updated many of their games recently.

No retail was only ever release in Germany and only in German. (I imported it so I own it.) So I was using the translation patch on it but now have replaced that install with GOG's version as that has English and I don't understand German, so very happy this has come to GOG with English audio.

I just checked: the recently updated Steam version only has the german voice-overs, but with english subtitles.

I've looked at the files on steamdb and it does not have any spx files in an en subfolder like the GOG version has.
