darktjm: I know that's not really what you were asking, but I obviously don't know the answer to your question.
Maybe not, but it works for me. :D

I just spent $150 on shirts and pennants, so I need to hold off right now, but I'll grab it soon enough.

Totally read that as penance. By any chance, did you buy any buddy shirts? That would totally work with the theming here. ;)

The most shocking thing to me about this game, is that no one has complained about the System requirment yet.

System requirements
Minimum system requirements:

Memory: 8 GB RAM

Is this a bit much for these type of games or is it poorly optimized?

This.
I remember playing such games on 8MB RAM :)
I played this game for aboot 20 hours.

Its a fun game, similar to Rimworld. Base-building, resource-gathering, survival, etc...

Never had any problems running the game, or any problems whatsoever.

eastc: I don't understand the gripes about the art. Seems fine to me. I care more about if the game is fun or not. The number of ugly games I'd never normally consider only to be proved wrong when playing them (DF comes to mind) has taught me to care a lot less about looks. Although, that said, gfx are weak but I don't find them revolting or anything.
Hear, hear. Gameplay is everything.
I don't like the graphics for the people and monsters and stuff. They don't blend in well. I like the rest of the graphics though. The game is going for an unusual look, but its really pulling off that look well.
I read Judgement and tought we'd got the latest Yakuza Team Game over GoG for a second. You made me happy for nothing.

At least I discovered this game, it is not my of my tastes but I hope people'll fun with it.

Though judgement (with an e) has risen and fallen in popularity in British English, judgment remains the preferred spelling in British legal proceedings and appears more frequently in written work. Today, judgement is an accepted spelling in British English.

Your welcome :D
when i read Judgment my brain said: what the .... ? my eyes went like: (◑‿◐) thats not correct (English is not my native language) , my first thoughts were: " sounds like French talking English: "Juudgemoint " and "maybe its medieval English") I Googled and voila my brain was right to 'warn' me something wasn't right.

Anyway, i do love hearing people speak English with a French accent, very funny to hear, or Brittish like John Cleese,
Micheal Caine,
series: Fawlty Towers , Are you being Served? , Blackadder , Helga&Herr Flick from Allo allo
we grew up with many British series , always Dutch subtitled only a few kids shows were 'dubbed' with Dutch voices ( awfull 'dubbing')
German series and shows were broadcasted aswell , all with Dutch subs.

Maybe its because we were invaded by almost anyone according to Google :D

Vikings in The Netherlands. The Netherlands were heavily raided for centuries and colonized on multiple occasions by the Danes. In the long run, however, the Franks maintained too strong a dominion over the region, causing the Scandinavians to flee. If you are Dutch, it is SOMEWHAT likely that you have Viking in you.Oct 27, 2015

Where are the Dutch originally from?
Over time, English-speaking people used the word Dutch to describe people from both the Netherlands and Germany. (At that point in time, in the early 1500s, the Netherlands and parts of Germany, along with Belgium and Luxembourg, were all part of the Holy Roman Empire.)

In a way things havent really changed regarding 'raids' that took place in our past :D
