Very funny thing. Releasing paid DLCs instead of simply create new menu item in settings.
What next? Door to game's end directly from opening scene?

Not the first game on GOG with these.
These devs (Exe Create Inc.) offer those with all their games (to some extent):
- https://www.gog.com/en/game/asdivine_saga
- https://www.gog.com/en/game/overrogue
At a total of $42.27 , it costs more to buy all the microtransaction unlockables for the base game, than it does to buy the base game itself, $22.59 AUD regular non-sale price ( current launch "sale price" is $20.39 AUD ).
And this rip-off for the PC launch of a 2014 game on Android.
Game looks nice enough to grace my wishlist, but daaaaaaamn that's a lot of cheat DLC.

Judging by the publisher's store page, this sadly doesn't seem to be anything new for them.

Maybe they'll let us buy the DLC with monster bits and in-game coins :D

It must mean something. I first read what new releases there were...when I saw the list of cheat DLC my reaction was: Oh, a game from Kemco. Bingo...100 points.
I can write a review for this game blind: a group of childish heroes set out to save the world. There is always very mmmh childish humor. The battles (turn-based) are easy to win even on the strongest level. As extras there is an arena, an in-game shop that is paid for with tokens won through battles (you get some after every 3), a daily lottery and 3 simple side quests whose purpose is to get the tokens for the shop faster.
You can also fight particularly strong opponents in some places. And the last opponent is Madam Currie.
In a New Game + it is all made even easier.
If I have forgotten something...sue me.

Eh, i'd still play it....of course i'm easily pleased :)
After several releases (including the latest one) getting a footnote treatment, why in the world is this overpriced shovelware getting a special separate release post?!

Also a reminder of gog statement: Hand-picking the best in gaming
Yeah, this false AD isn't funny anymore.

Not sure where ppl get the notion that the DLC is mandatory. I have finished several Exe-Create games (this one included) and not even once did i feel the need to buy any of those DLC.

This is not a ubicrap game, ppl.

We now go to the Vorlon ambassador for a statement on the matter.
Great moment, that.
Frankly, I know beggars can't be choosers, but the staff at GOG could choose to reject games like this which have [checks notes] default RPG maker assets.

This is akin to selling a ZZT title that doesn't use any special scripts.
I'm just amazed how some really great and interesting indie games don't make it to GoG for whatever reasons, but this is "DRM free" approved and endorsed?
