Watch out for that tree!

Jill of the Jungle: The Complete Trilogy is now available for FREE. To celebrate her arrival, the Jazz Jackrabbit Collections are 33% off and the Unreal series 80% off until November 5th, 11pm UTC.

Re-discover this cult platform series from Epic starring a spunky amazon lady who can morph into various animals in order to access unreachable areas and kick copious amounts of evil butt.
Thank you! I have very fond memories of this game. It's old and amateurish, the very essence of what was an indie effort those days, but still entertaining and fun.
Awesome! Thank you. Hopefully we'll see Xargon added in the near future!
Thanks Epic.
"...copious amounts of... butt."

Well, I am sold! :^

Joking aside, this is a nice gift. :)
Greaaat :D

GOG.com: Jill of the Jungle: The Complete Trilogy is now available for FREE.
Thanks a lot, GOG and Epic Games!
I've finished first 8 levels from first game so far and I must admit, that it's surprisingly enjoyable (for it's age and rather simplified form). Control could be a little better (jumping from one line to another is sometimes annoyingly delayed, also attacks are a bit underdeveloped). And I never played in this game earlier, so I consider this as another plus (that with it's age it can be still appealing even for someone who doesn't have any memories with that title).
Thanks for the freebie!

.Ra: Is it free because it's freeware or what ever they call certain games?

MarkoH01: It is free because Epic decided to give it away for free on GOG (don't know it it is legally available anywhere else). Technically it is not freeware. Freeware is normally called software that was meant to be free in the first place - sometimes the devs/publisher decide to turn their game into freeware and announce it officially. So far I could not find anything about Epic officially declaring the games to be freeware.
well if its free on gog and its drm free, then it could be freeware, all you need is an account
Thankyou,Gog:)

It would be freeware if you were allowed to get it everywhere. For all we know for know it could also have been a deal between GOG and Epic.

but theres no drm on this free game, if it was free on steam or epic games launcher it would be shady suspect

Ganni1987: I still remember it as clear as Summer daylight, my dad used to take me to his work on Saturdays and I played this game on a 486 DX2.
Please, try a 386 SX, 16 MHz, 2 Mb RAM :D Was in my living room though, at dad's work I had discovered Lotus: The Ultimate Challenge then (and a few others, but that stuck).

Now, what other Epic sharewares did I have way back (there was a guy selling floppies with them for basically the price of the floppy in a small "shop" set up under a staircase somewhere, parents took me to pick a couple of times, otherwise got them directly, probably ended up with everything he had over a couple of years)? There was Tyrian probably, then Kiloblaster and Overkill and Zone 66, same sort of thing, and I'm quite sure of Seek and Destroy too, though that seems to have been released after the period I remember, so that's odd... Seem to remember something about Epic Pinball too.

dr.schliemann: I noticed there isn't a subforum for the game: I suppose this is a mistake because Jill surely deserves her own.
Yeah, still none it seems. Maybe they'll get around to it Monday?
