Jazz up your collection.

Jazz Jackrabbit: The Complete Collection and Jazz Jackrabbit 2: The Complete Collection are now available DRM-free on GOG.com with a 10% launch discount until December 7, 2PM UTC. Or get them together with Epic Pinball for a neat 25% discount.
He's green, he's lean, he's got some crazy speed: Jazz Jackrabbit, the intergalactic lagomorph with the red bandana and gung-ho attitude is back, exclusively on GOG.com. Both of his bombastic outings were hailed as platform shooter classics back when they were first unleashed upon the world, partly thanks to their tight mechanics and vibrant visuals and partly for their swanky protagonist and addictive soundtrack.

The GOG.com edition of Jazz Jackrabbit 2 can also come pre-bundled with the incredible JJ2+ mod. Packing years of dedication from the Jazz Jackrabbit community, expanded multiplayer features and game modes, tons of fixes, as well as tools to play (and create) the huge library of community-made content.
Download Jazz Jackrabbit 2 with the JJ2+ mod through the Beta Channels feature in GOG Galaxy or by grabbing the appropriate offline installers directly from your GOG.com account.
You can find more about Beta branches here.

If you're looking for an extra dose of platforming and pinball goodness, check out our Special Sale - but be quick, it ends December 1st, 11PM UTC!

thesmashingone: Wow, thank you GOG and Epic Games! I've been waiting to play this for a long time now, and now I can!

One question though: Does Jack Jackrabbit include Holiday Hare '94 and '95? The description doesn't mention if this is the case.
avatar
Hastur-: It does - there's the CD version which has '94 in it and Holiday Hare '95 bundled with that.
Any chance that could be added to the game description?

Pawel1995: JJ2 has the COOP tag on it, how can you play? Local with controller + keyboard ?
avatar
Hastur-: You can play splitscreen up to 4 people, controller + keyboard or on one keyboard or controller + controller :)
Is LAN also possible?

They already did it :) Unless someone knows what CD-ROM version includes, it might be misleading though.

Oh nice. I guess there are some more wishes that can be completed.

It should be, yeah. Worked for us at least :P
Awesome these games are here! I do have a concern though - is there any danger of Jazz Jackrabbit 2 getting removed because a modder decides they don't like their mod being distributed like this?
I would like to know If the soundtrack will be added to the games also (i really liked the music)
high rated

Hi, I'm the project lead of the JJ2+ mod. GOG talked to us in advance about this and we were thorough in getting everybody involved in the mod's permission to go ahead. We're all beyond thrilled to see this day come after waiting nearly twenty years for it, doing our best to keep the community alive in the meantime--nobody's about to tell GOG this is a bad thing.

re Coop on LAN: Jazz 2 has LAN, yes, but also full online multiplayer, and the list server is still running to this very day. :)
Congenial!
I have played them as a child and recently with my partner with the jr+ fan patch, which is also included.

That means, yes, instabuy! :D

Thanks, GOG & whoever brought it here :)
Nice these are here. While I personally never loved them quite as much as the rest of the PC gaming crowd, I still thought they were quite good showpieces of that yes PC can also do nicely and smoothly (parallax?) scrolling action games. Eat that you Amiga/SNES/Genesis fanatics claiming the opposite!

EDIT: I guess the main reason I wasn't THAT impressed by Jazz game(s) was that Doom had already appeared a year before this game, and I guess to me in 1994 PC gaming = Doom 1-2 (with various fan-made total conversions)

Woah, I never thought it would happen, but it is done!

Finally GOG going a bit back to the roots on why they became so great in the first place.

That's good to know. I've seen too many good games dissappear off GoG because a random modder somewhere decided to complain. I'll be picking up JJ2 soon :)
NEAT!

soo... James Pond complete collection next?
awesome releases, will pick these up in a couple of hours for sure!

darkhog: A gdzie polska wersja? HM? JJ2 miało polską wersję.

You can't call it a "complete collection" without Polish version.

Nope, can't select language other than English in the options. Sorry!
