Ion Fury is now available DRM-free.

While Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison earned her codename defusing bombs for the Global Defense Force, when evil transhumanist mastermind Dr. Jadus Heskel unleashes the members of his cybernetic cult onto the streets of Neo DC, she knows it’s time to start causing explosions instead of preventing them.

Her quest to slay Heskel leaves a trail of carnage throughout huge, multi-path levels filled with gigantic explosions, more secret areas than we can count, and inhuman foes behind every corner. There’s no regenerating health here; stop taking cover and start running and gunning.

TheGreatDustpan: I just noticed that the reviews people have put up for Ion Fury post-release are still being marked as in-development. Nothing was showing up for me since "After release" was automatically being checked.
People are too busy figuring out bosses, I suppose :)
Can someone who owns "Ion Fury" please let me know what its library ID is?

Here's how you find it in Firefox:
1) Go to your library on GOG
2) Type Ion Fury in the search filter
3) Press F12 to open the "Tools" panel
4) Go to the Network tab in the "Tools" panel
5) If the Network tab is not empty, click on the dustbin icon at the top left corner of the panel to clear it
6) Click on the "Ion Fury" entry in your library to open its file list
7) Three or so lines should appear in your Network tab
8) One of them (usually the second) should have under the File column something like "<10-digit-number>.json"
9) Post the 10-digit-number here
10) Thanks

CTRL+SHIFT+E is faster.

It seem to be 1740836875 unless there are different IDs for EA purchases.

Thanks!

P.S. I didn't mention Ctrl+Shift+E because, although faster, it is less robust. On my system it doesn't work, because it conflicts with a Windows shortcut (all Ctrl+Shift and Ctrl+Alt shortcuts have the same potential problem).

mrkgnao: Windows

– Interesting. I didn't know that. On Linux most problems are caused by the ALT key.

TheBigCore: Don't. Feed. The. Trolls.
This.

No need to talk about any fuckboys on any forums trying to sully the name of a damned good game, especially when they're not making even the slightest dent.

Just enjoy the game, says I.

*major eye roll*
how all-encompassing. an' what a hysterical word

if a dev really is vocal about transsexuals (in a negative light) and other backwards, medieval ideas then bleed-thru is expected. idea: if youre tryin' to make bucks off of people maybe shutup exposin' your shitty world views. i dont need to here why youre a bigot. either take my monies and be quiet or shout from the rooftops an' sell jack.

Developers are funding child abuse programs!
They are putting 10k$ into a child abuse program to pander to pedophiles from Resetera.
^Say what?

Me too. I'm very interested in what modding community will do with all those new assets.

Uggggh, the developer just stated they're going to patch Ion Fury ASAP to 'remove all unacceptable language', whatever that means.

Yeah...uggggh.

Because of all those (I hate to say it yet again, but here we go) 'snowflakes', I want...sorry, need to see publishers and devs come up with the most offensive games.
(Some) People have become way, way too sensitive in the recent past, all that made up, unnecessary drama over pretty much nothing. Oh well, nothing you can do about that... :P

So in like all media I keep hearing that only we should decide for ourselves, freedom of choice, freedom of speech. And then Voidpoind developer said that deciding sex orientation for unborn child is not good and then bam, $10K donation to LGBT fund. So I guess it's okay to decide for your child after all, right? Because I'm confused.

Went to there Discord. They deny any such censorship and claim it's fake news made up by "mainstream gaming jurnos" and Resetera goblins.

Hahah such idiots, it's a sign of weak developers not to mention the harm is already done for the ResetEra crowd. Voidpoint can't truly think they are going to be redeemed in their eyes if they change a few lines in the actual game and majority of backlash itself came from their devs being vocal of social media of some political issues not of Ion Maidens content.

Sorry to say but if they go through with this then they deserve a refund just out of principles, i dislike political issues causing removal and replaces stuff in post launched games in people libraries.

Edited: I hope what Yeshu said is true and it most likely is, the state gaming journalism in 2019 lol.
