Ion Fury is now available DRM-free.

While Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison earned her codename defusing bombs for the Global Defense Force, when evil transhumanist mastermind Dr. Jadus Heskel unleashes the members of his cybernetic cult onto the streets of Neo DC, she knows it’s time to start causing explosions instead of preventing them.

Her quest to slay Heskel leaves a trail of carnage throughout huge, multi-path levels filled with gigantic explosions, more secret areas than we can count, and inhuman foes behind every corner. There’s no regenerating health here; stop taking cover and start running and gunning.

Gersen: The game runs on EDuke 32, so everything you can do with EDuke 32 you should be able to do with it.
It uses a modified version of eDuke specific to Ion Fury. So you might not be able to do everything with it, that you can do with Duke 3D.
One of Ion Fury devs apparently is not a fan of transgenderism and SJWs in general. He said something about that on Discord, so now morons from ResetEra decided to harrass him and review-bomb Ion Fury on Steam.

It's still on overwhelmingly positive and 3D realms best ever seller on steam. That won't change.

Game is fantastic, social media bickering won't change that or the views and habits of those willing to buy and play games.

It's ResetEra. Take what they say with a grain of salt. Plus they are known trolls and are known for making things up and for 'leaking' personal info on employees online. They do alot of other things, which i'll sum up with the word scum.

Why people keep saying they said this still amazes me.

Edit:

Just read what was actually said, and yeah nothing was offensive. Typical ResetEra blowing a mountain out of nothing.

No surprise there... ResetEra the only place that makes 4-chan and 8-chan appears as civilized and rational communities in comparison.
Nice to see REEEEEESetera still hasnt changed.

Shine on you confused diamonds

hahaha
Great game, and thanks for the Linux version!

tfishell: imo, If you live and die by achievements you're best off just using Steam. I hope someday adding achievements to Galaxy doesn't take long at all, but I guess that's not the case right now.
Heh, I don't really care about achievements, that's regardless the fact that Linux users on GOG still don't even have Galaxy integration to begin with ;)

I try to keep the same attitude, but internet points are so addictive it can be hard to go cold turkey.
How does this compare to the direct predecessor Bombshell? Is it as buggy and boring as Bombshell? Or did they manage to make a true Duke Nukem 3D successor this time?

I don't think it's anything like Bombshell, but more like Duke 3D/Blood.
But yea watching one of the plethora of vids always helps.
I just noticed that the reviews people have put up for Ion Fury post-release are still being marked as in-development. Nothing was showing up for me since "After release" was automatically being checked.
