The penitent man shall Use Item On...

Indiana Jones® and the Last Crusade™, the classic point'n'click adventure starring Henry Jones Jr. and his disapproving dad, is now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com, with a 25% launch discount.

He hates snakes. He hates Nazis. He hates being called "Junior" by his dad. But he loves a good adventure, even if it contains all of the above.
This time, hands-on archeologist Indiana Jones is on the trail of the Holy Grail, but so are Adolf Hitler's lackeys. Tracking down the resting place of the last Knights will send both Indy and his dad on a journey full of cunning puzzles, spooky crypts, double-crossing dames, and a constant need for their unique brand of problem solving: improvisation and fisticuffs. Based on the last movie of the franchise (yes, the LAST one), The Last Crusade contains many locations that never appeared on the big screen, plenty of old-school action, and tons of well-placed references that may or may not belong in a museum.

Punch Nazis with your fedora on, solve puzzles with your whip, and try to keep up with the Joneses as they investigate Indiana Jones® and the Last Crusade™, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The 25% discount will last until December 28, 10:59 PM UTC.

gamesfreak64: thats the only good thing: as far as i know we havent got a lock on a game yet in the netherlands.

commandos games are also excellent games, i only have the classic games , 2 retail; copies of each
and the gog versions
Fortunately I bought the Commandos games before they vanished under lock and key. We Germans have an uncomfortable relationship with our past and like to censor media, especially games which contain a certain imagry.

joppo: Are you sure about that? If it is really uncensored that's great news for you germans.

Still, if I was german I'd buy and download it as fast as I could just to be sure the uncensored version isn't just a memory lapse on either GOG's or Disney's part because these things tend to be "corrected", you know.
Pretty much, because the text and audio is in English and no other version is available. They not only censored it, they also translated it and the censorship is connected to the translation. To have a nice overview what they changed look here - it is in German but the images should speak volumes.

EGA (enhanced graphics adapter) is 16 (sixteen) colors, VGA is 16x16 colors, so already a bit more.

I can only guess but maybe lostwolfe wanted to exactly recreate his childhoold experience.
fine release, thanks ;)
good to see more vault titles drmfree
Classic. Me likes.
Have the Adventure of Your Life Keeping Up With The Joneses.

Thanks for another Indie game. (Pun intended.)
Why no FM-TOWNS version this time? it was possible for Zak McKracken.

The FM-TOWNS version offers the major advantage of CD audio for music.

It would be a nice addition, possibly with Japanese text.

I'm impressed by the diary found in the extras. 66 pages of handwritten or typed Indy diary with drawings. Is it supposed to be read before playing or while playing? Does it give clues?
A curiosity: the telegram at page 13 might be historically accurate (I think it's modified from an original), but awfully filled out. It's impossible it could ever leave the post office like that!
