Why is it we still can't buy the digital comics related to this game series like "Paper Memories" on GOG?

The title of this game is very sus.

I'm not sorry.

joveian: I liked the To The Moon story overall but I didn't like A Bird Story so I'm going to wait until Finding Paradise is very inexpensive before giving them a try again.
Bird Story never was supposed to play in the same league as To The Moon or Finding Paradise. It is just a tiny apetizer since Finding Paradise took much longer than expected. You should not be afraid that you might dislike Finding Paradise imo if you liked To The Moon.

And yes, the games are more or less like movies with very little interaction. They are based on characters and they try to provoke emotions through more or less cheesy situations and yes, the graphics are nothing to write home about. Still even those games (as well as visual novels which also mostlxy don't have much interactions) do have their audience. This is clearly meant to those that prefer narration and emotions over complicated gameplay and graphics. Having played Impostor Factory now for about 3 hours I can say for sure that this game is not different at all - so those that hoped it would be different probably should move away. I also like to add that the known characters from To The Moon, Finding Paradise and those free specials don't seem to be in this one as well - even though the trailer let it seem to be this way. This is a completely different story so far.

I just wrote an e-mail and asked the dev. If he should answer me I will post it here.

MarkoH01:
I know it wasn't a full episode, but it is still a bad sign to dislike the storytelling in a game that is entirely about telling a story (I would worry less if I didn't like the story but thought the storytelling was ok).

Thanks for the info on this game. Based on the title and trailer I'm sure twists are to be expected, although at least a change of pace to not seem like the same thing as previously.

Darvond: Hard pass.
If it's anything like To The Moon, it's a (minimally) interactive storybook. Especially after multiple games, their art assets still scream "RPGMAKER 2000 DEFAULT ASSET BUILDS."

Which confounds me in how they managed to win an award for innovation, but then again so did the Amico (from some no name reward mill; just like paying for a world record.)

Kunovski: how? probably because of the awesome story :) it's like watching a movie filled with great characters, with stunning music and such a strong ending almost everyone wept

not for everybody I'm sure... but some can still have fun even with games that look like that ;) me for example
If I'm watching a movie I expect to be able to pause it

I don't like cinema, I don't like being disturbed by others around me, not having headphones, not being able to pause, go to the toilet or check my phone, having to sit uncomfortably watching the distant screen from bad angles...meh. And nowadays having to show my vaccination papers, and being scared to blow my nose being seen as an act of terrorism. Pass. Anyway, you don't go to a cinema to play a videogame.
In the arcades I could not pause games of course, but that was a lifetime ago. You could not save.
So if I say I expect to be able to pause or save a game on my pc, you'll tell me that I make you laugh because arcades used to be a thing?
