Lightning pace, heart-pounding shooting action, all tied together in a neat neon-tinged roguelite package. HYPERGUN places you squarely in the boots of DevTech Lab’s latest intern, armed with the most modular gun known to man. Blast away with 150 weapon modules across procedurally generated levels filled with alien enemies and towering bosses. Oh, and deal with office politics as a lowly intern.

SeduceMePlz: No problem with this game being here, but the release feels lackluster given this is the only one so far this week, especially since GOG has rejected games such as Bullet Witch
You mean that crappy X360 game? Nothing of value was lost, then.
Strange. I wanted to add this to my Gogmix Every Roguelike I Could Find, but for some reason, I just can't find the game.

I hope something big is planned for tomorrow... Assassin's Creed release event, perhaps? Or Bethesda games?
It looks janky, visually unappealing, and all around kind of shitty, but I want Bullet Witch. Come on, GOG. Don't make me buy it on Steam.
God, I wish Total Biscuit was here to make a WTF on this one. Looks like it has great potential :)
One man's treasure is another man's trash .

did GOG actually reject Bullet Witch or was it an issue with licencing? i didn't realise it finally made the switch to PC. the game was a strange little gem as far as i am concerned. i voted for it ages ago. would buy it here in a heartbeat
Cool. Nvyve Studios has released a game on GOG. I hope they release P.A.M.E.L.A here next.

as you say, but somehow a lot of fun to play. still gets a spin on my 360 when i'm bothered to set it up.
If anyone wonders, the track is Leather Teeth by Carpenter Brut. One of my favourites of the new album. :)
Interesting game, but it would be even better if the latest releases also had achievements, this is a form of treatment as second-class citizens for the GOG customers.

Recently the situation had improved but now almost all the last games released here lack this component.
Has anyone tried the game yet? What video settings are available in the Options menu?

A DRM-Free version is available at the humble bundle store.
I'm glad to see this game here, the more, the merrier, but like someone else said before, it's kind of baffling we get Hypergun but not Mothergunship, especially considering the dev's previous game, Tower of Guns, is already on GOG, and reception seems to be mostly positive...

Either way, I'm glad we got some game release after two days of the FCKDRM "movement" being the only major thing happening on GOG. Wishlisted, for now, not really something I feel like spending money on, for the time being.

Is there any chance we'll see Mothergunship on GOG?

Technically solid all around.
I was under the impression that you can put the attachments you unlock on your gun and start each run with a customized gun you want. I was wrong. You start each run with the same base gun and then have to bet on luck that you find the attachments you want in the run - as most attachments mean more damage your dps increases.
Its also hard as nails - you get only health after you beat boss I think - you only get occasional shield.
As there is no difficulty slider, I gotta stop playing this I fear as it's not fun to be so hard.
