The power of four.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation, the cheeky sequel to the meta-JRPGs that spoof our favourite hobby, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 50% launch discount.

The world of Gameindustri is in peril! People are losing their jobs, creators are losing their spirit, and the spanky CPUs have gone missing. Everybody wants to get their games for free, and that's just not a sustainable business model. Now it's up to the four younger sisters of our favorite CPUs to seek them out and put the industry back on track.
Flashy special attacks, crazy transformations, and elaborate turn-based conflicts are most certainly involved, as well as a whole bunch of meta-references, inside jokes, and unexpected encounters. The Console Wars don't let up and neither can you! Not until you acquire all the fabulous pieces of customisable gear and all the game-changing Plans scattered around the world.

Try to install some stability in the world of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Don't forget to also check out the DLC Pack for several in-game items that will make the sisters squeal with joy!
To celebrate, the first Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 is 75% off for one week!
The 50% and 75% discounts will last until January 27, 4:00PM UTC.

Touwa: I will investigate :>

tfishell: Could you also ask Retroism to add the missing Pajama Sam languages, please? :)

Unfortunately, GOG users often get the shaft compared to Steam.
Which in my opinion is at least a shame if not more since we are paying the same good money for the same game (minus DRM) but we still don't get the same other buyers are getting which paid the same or even less money. I get it if there is some "exclusive deal" with steam sometimes but mostly it's just laziness - often not only from the devs/publishers but from GOG itself. This is something that makes you lose customers and not win them over!
Instabought. Please bring the following games from this series, too. Thanks GOG. :)

As well as getting the games here with a (big) delay. Though that is not GOG's fault most of the time.
I'm just curious, what is so good about this franchise of JRPGs ? They give me the impression it's more or less jokes about consoles made into lolis with a typical japanesse flavor. Is the gameplay any good or the story creative enought ?

To people who asking for artbook and OST , even they weren't part of original release on Steam . After long time they were added as Deluxe Edition's of game with original Japanese text .

I see. Whose mailbox do we spam full for it so gog gets the same treatment?
It's a shame these have been on sale for 75-80% off a bunch of times, that makes the launch discount very meh.
But, I can wait.

DoctorGOGgles: While you're at it, could you also investigate why Recettear and Chantelise also have Japanese text on Steam, but not on GOG?
They do? I only see Japanese interface there, not subtitles.

Pretty much that; the most noteworthy part is the sheer number of jokes in each game, with about two thirds of the dialogue, lots of equipment and even many skills being a reference to some franchise or another, from Metal Gear to the Virtual Boy; the games even poke fun at the fact they were originally PS Vita exclusives.

Gameplay is good, it's fun and does its work well, but it's exceedingly average; there's more "boundary pushing" on your average RPGMaker game. And the story, well, it is certainly unique, but since the focus is overwhelmingly on jokes, don't expect much development in that regard either.

Most likely Idea Factory's, cause they are the owners. And they are responsible for realising this.

While it's nice addition... damn, GOG, I do hope it get's on GOG Connect, cause I already bought Ys series here and there, Agarest series, first Neptunia game... my wallet ain't infinite yet, GOG.com! D:

The games can be switched to 100% Japanese, interface and all in-game text (works with the free demo too).
See my post about this problem here.
