The power of four.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation, the cheeky sequel to the meta-JRPGs that spoof our favourite hobby, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 50% launch discount.

The world of Gameindustri is in peril! People are losing their jobs, creators are losing their spirit, and the spanky CPUs have gone missing. Everybody wants to get their games for free, and that's just not a sustainable business model. Now it's up to the four younger sisters of our favorite CPUs to seek them out and put the industry back on track.
Flashy special attacks, crazy transformations, and elaborate turn-based conflicts are most certainly involved, as well as a whole bunch of meta-references, inside jokes, and unexpected encounters. The Console Wars don't let up and neither can you! Not until you acquire all the fabulous pieces of customisable gear and all the game-changing Plans scattered around the world.

Try to install some stability in the world of Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation, DRM-free on GOG.com.
Don't forget to also check out the DLC Pack for several in-game items that will make the sisters squeal with joy!
To celebrate, the first Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 is 75% off for one week!
The 50% and 75% discounts will last until January 27, 4:00PM UTC.

GOG.com: Don't forget to also check out the DLC Pack for the sweet art book and soundtrack, plus several in-game items that will make the sisters squeal with joy!

Grargar: Is that right? I don't see any mention of the artbook/soundtrack in the product's description.
You are correct - the DLC Pack does NOT include neither the Soundtrack nor the Art book.

Apologies for the misleading info, it has now been fixed.
These are instant purchases for me. In spite of the glitch in the first game that would frequently cause combat to freeze everything up, I still clocked over 60 hours in it. I'm trusting these are just as addictive. Thanks for bringing them here!
Already own all of these (and spin-offs) on Steam...

INSTA-NEPPED!

Hey, while your on it investigating the fact why GOG is treated different from publishers/devs than Steam could you please ask Telltale Games why they refuse to update the GOG version of Tale from the Borderlands with German (and other languages) subtitles like the steam version which was updated half a year (!!) ago (I can also provide several links confirming this including official ones)? I asked them about it and they just replied that they don't plan to update the game. So basically they are flipping the bird to GOG customers and making them ask if buying on GOG really was the correct choice. I understand that those (TTG) are your customers as well but don't you really want to do anything against the fact that they obvioulsy are thinking GOG customers are worthless? In the end GOG is receving money from us so their customers should not be that unimportant. Or should we really rather buy on steam?

While this niche isn't exactly for me, it is always nice to see different types of games released on GOG once in a while.

Awww :(
Whats a JRPG? Is that really just a "Japanese" RPG?
I just browsed through these games on steam and been meaning to pick those up as there wasn't any signs of these coming to GOG in near future.. I'm so glad I waited. The first rebirth was such a fun game so I definitely know what I'm doing this weekend.

Happy weekend everyone, pudding time!

While you're at it, could you also investigate why Recettear and Chantelise also have Japanese text on Steam, but not on GOG?
Not an absolute top of my wishlist (where is the Oblivion damnit?! Do I really have to go the "the other store"??), but I'll get it sooner or later. Maybe even this weekend if I find myself with too much free time. The bandage scene in the first one made me uninstall it (I don't mind seeing boob here and there, but this was way too cheesy and silly even for me, almost painful to watch), but I gave it a second chance bit later and rest of it turned out to be pretty good, even worth several replays to get to the missed dungeons.

Could you also ask Retroism to add the missing Pajama Sam languages, please? :)

Unfortunately, GOG users often get the shaft compared to Steam.

That's it. Though the term often implies some other stuff (turn based, 3 character party, anime graphics, colorful world with a mismatch of scifi and fantasy, flashy special attacks...) that all apply for the Neptunia series

JRPG / WRPG are game style, not developer's nation.
Japanese people could do WRPG, Western people could do JRPG.
Bought birth2&3 even if they don't contain the OST & Artbook :/

Today, between this two and the other two psvita release (Atelier Shallie Plus: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea & Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star Day One Edition), I think my gaming month is almost full :P
Hmm, it is cheap but i probably shoud be a bit carefull with my money so il wait for now +
who knows, maybe something else will show up wich i cant wait to buy so whishlisted.
